MVD is fine so long as you buy MO at Walmart instead of taking cash advances, which seems to be a huge red flag. I usually load $2k on the card at a time and immediately buy 2 MO to unload. That way if they did shut me down I wouldn't have more than $2k held by them, but I've had no problems with this strategy and I've been doing fairly large volume on the card for several months.

You could also buy GC and buy MO with the GC, but that is more expensive (the 50 cent MVD transaction fee works out to 12.5 cents per VR which only 1/8th the $1 difference between the price of a VR and a Visa GC), and also depending on your WM it might be easier to buy MO with a debit card that has your name on it.

So BB load transactions are working as they should again?

I bought some yesterday afternoon and had to call to load them as the website kept giving me an error.

I'm new to using VR cards. Of the 4 closest CVS stores to me, only 1 has VR cards but the supply is dwindling low so I'm concerned about them running out. If I've already purchased a VR card and used it, can I just bring it back to the store with me and "reload" it or can CVS only fund it once?

BTW I have purchased 2 $500 cards in single day at CVS; I just made sure I had a different cashier. The store I go to is a little unique in that it has registers in the front and back of the store so you can guarantee you'll get somone different. If you're at a store with a single line that goes to the next avaiable register, I suppose you could pretend to forget something and walk out of the line if you're going to get the same cashier and try again.

No. PIN on each VR is for one time use. It has nothing to do with CVS, it is the design of VR. If this can be done, it would have been exploited by hundreds if not thousands of readers here and all over the internet.

And no, CVS does not fund it, YOU, the purchaser, fund it by tendering a form of payment accepted and processed by CVS.

All CVS stores have 2 areas one can pay - the front and the pharmacy. $500 each x 2 can be done at the SAME register with the SAME cashier at almost all stores. People do that all the time especially when they have more than one card they want to put spend on. In some stores the cashiers even want / insist to split the purchase to one VR at a time. So what you describe is nothing new or unique, plus it is not necessary to go to different cashier.

So I'm in Chicago and just bought 6K worth if beans today (sat) and I'll be going back to the same CVS to buy more. What is interesting these are not the new type for the older type.. So beans are alive.
