A new thread was created for the new year in 2017. This is the old thread. For the 2017 on this topic, go here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manufactured-spending/1819562-cvs-master-thread-2017-a.html
CVS is cash only for all Incomm-related reloads and reloadable cards, including Vanilla Reloads and Serve swipe reloads. See memo to stores for complete list. Other cards at CVS can still be bought using credit, but YMMV depending on location, Manager, etc.
New limits rolling out starting 10/20:
Transactions with $300 or more of card face value require ID.
Limit $2000 of card face value per 24 hour rolling period.
Limit of 10 cards per 24 hours.
Cashback posted in 48 hours.
Cash Register Freezing
Multiple reports that the CVS cash register will freeze and lock after scanning the ID when purchasing multiple prepaid cards. Then the register's computer needs to be restarted. Some report that "swiping" the ID instead of "scanning" will avoid the issue.
Limit of 7 tenders (swipes) per transaction. This is most commonly run into when using low-value AGCs. After seven, the transaction must be complete, no cash (or any other payment method) will be accepted to pay the balance.

Forget the cardinals, I got to deal with this dude who works at the store and seems to have a man-crush on me. lol He's sold me many cards and thinks I'm Bill Gates' son. I ran into him the other day when I was out running some errands....not only did he recognize me, he asked me if I wanted to hang out. Awkward! Guess I'll have to find a new store. lol
ETA: He was with his gf..before you think otherwise. lol

gf or no, you gotta milk this one dude. get all the points you can.
After all we have to slosh our way through places like Walmart and I have this one gal there that thinks I have the hots for her so she loves to do MOs for me. (She is kinda cute in a trashy sorta way)

Truthfully, I hate shopping at Wal-Mart, mostly due to long lines. But I have had very good luck at all the service centers when loading BB or buying MO. They are always friendly, don't ask questions, and are good at getting it done in a timely fashion.

Ohhh, you're right. Probably the store is under surveillance too. I would stay very, very far away for a looong time too. Error messages like that mean they're on to you!
Now, where again is that prompt making people answer basic thread related questions before they post? Oh, that's right, it still doesn't exist. (not directed at pkerr)

No, that was intentional. For the right amount of miles, MM would milk a clerk.

Marathon man is offering sexual favors for beans. DCBob is in the middle of a turf war. What has this "hobby" come to?!
