How would someone at MVD know your intent? How would they know that the motivation of your loading and unloading was "to earn miles" Maybe it's to free up money for a low cost cash advance?

Sounds fishy?

They want copies of my reload cards (last 2 per load) and my last receipt, SS Card, and Driver's license before they will release card for a 48 hr window. My alternative is to have them mail me a check. She said they have been working with the credit card issuers who have requested these shutdowns and they said they are shutting down tons of them every single day and in the past week they are shutting down any account that does not have normal activity. She said basically, there is a daily review of every account ongoing right now linked by the SS(which is why all 3 got shut down, and not just the 1 use) and there is a massive shutdown effort in effect. Also, She said they are working with CVS, who is their partner with the reload cards to hardcode against credit card purchases of this product starting in the very near future. So, I guess the game is over for me and many others.

Wow, all this info sounds like utter bunk. If CVS wanted to shut down credit card purchase of VRs, they wouldn't need to work with anyone to do so. The Green Dot cards CVS sells are already hard coded to not allow credit card for purchase. Changing VRs to similar is almost certainly a simple recoding. Almost everything she told you is so laughable that I wouldn't believe it.

Why are U surprised? U think this Website is a secret? there are all kinds of people reading every word U print.

Why would anyone pay 3.95 and again 1.95 for CA? if there was no arbitrage would it be not insane? The whole thing is rigged!

Also the fact that CVS just recently increased their limit to $5k per day with an ID scan doesn't seem to coincide with this info.

True, Credit card companies, Banks, MVD, CVS every company involved is complicit, we are just the facilitators! Regulators are hounding on them to close, not because they need our D/lc or SS copies that's what happened to WF PP.

I refused to fax my D/Lc. had to wait 3 weeks FDIC and CFPB to be active again(today)!
What is the normal activity? the under banked? In that case they have to compete all the cards on the rack

Not only that, they are promoting discounts? This week get $20 for $100 MC debit card at Albertsons and next week Office Max doing the same! So much competition for our Credit card money! Yet they point fingers at us and hold our money

Tried searching but couldn't find anything in here. Anyone else having issues applying for a new MVD? I've tried all day to sign up for a permanent card but the system is unable to authenticate my information. Tried calling the number provided on the website but CSR couldn't even find my application in their system. Very unusual.

Yes, I have had problems today. I have 2 in my name and one under wife. I tried to get my 3rd today and it said it couldn't confirm my identity online. Then I tried to get a second for wife and same result. Just checked and all of my cards are still active. I bought 3K of MOs on mine today and wife did a 4K CA after work. All good. Give it 24 hours and try again.

CVS and Incomm teaming together to save those helpless credit card companies from those evil MS'ers. Almost brings a tear to my eye.

Agreed, sounds like BS.

Well, if they are working to block CC purchases, they sure are taking their sweet time. I brought home two more from CVS just an hour ago :D.

Assuming you're not BS'ing, then it would seem a check is the better course of action.

What did you elect?

2 weeks ago before CS would ask for more docs, I said I am done with MVD send me the balance check, 4/6 weeks? I said OK and hung up. Turned active this morning rushed to the bank!

When that happens, CVS will be overstocked with VR?
