Thanks roki, that's encouraging that it took longer with Serve.

Quick question please. I searched Google and FT with no luck. How long does it usually take for the small deposits to post so you can verify your checking account with AP?

I am now on 6 days from when I put my Bluebird routing and account number into AP to verify.

Thanks

Is your BB account the same as my wife's in that the checkbook routing and account numbers are totally different to those they give you for direct deposits? My wife has just signed up for AP linked to BB, she used the direct deposit numbers to link to AP and the deposits were there in day. Just out of curiosity I called BB (I had nothing to do and I fancied being on hold for a few hours - would'nt you know it they answered almost immediately!) and the csr recommended she use the check book numbers as a link to AP (we've left it as the DD numbers and it works fine). I asked the csr why the checkbook and DD numbers were completely different and she said DD's are linked to the BB card and the check book is not ?????????????? gotta love walmart and BB systems! (and I use the word loosely).

Most likely, as Amz have shutdown accts for less obvious reasons. Let us know how it turns out.

Update:

Put my new united card on my account. Sent the money to my husband. Went through and already deposited into his checking account.

Guess we were not screwed.
Hoping all goes well next month.

I have not found any information posted that answers my current query.

Is it possible to use Citi's virtual account numbers on Amazon Payments? If I can do this it means I can hit minimum spend on the Executive all the easier.

Yes, it is possible.

Am I able to use my Citi Executive on Amazon Payments to accrue spend for bonus? I had hit the minimum spend using $1k on AP and received this msg from Citi:

Dear xxxx,

Thank you for using our Secure Messaging Center.

Your purchases of 2 Amazon payments of $500.00 do not qualify as purchases towards the promotional offer you are enrolled in at this time.

Why would you send sm to citi asking such a question and unnecessarily drawing attention? there are so many responses posted in this forum, only if you had taken a moment reading them. AP is coded as purchases if you select goods and services and will count towards minimum spend.

I didn't ask them that explicitly. I asked why the 75k bonus miles had not posted to my account yet and that was their response. My mistake was selecting cash advance on AP, oops.

Hopefully this is either inaccurate accidentally, or just trolling... would be very bad news for many of us.

No, just someone not knowing what they are doing...need more circles and arrows.

Sad to say, this may have caused a human to look into your account and saw these series of Amazon payments which they have now flagged. Hopefully, you will not be charged interests as being CA. I know this is an honest mistake since you wanted to know status of your reward but hopefully, your account isn't flagged for more purchases like this.

Let's keep our fingers crossed this will not affect everyone adversely.

I've been to doing A <-> B for awhile, we have last name (dad) but different address/checking/etc. Just realized his address is on my profile because it was tied to my amazon.com account, thus leaking into amazon payments. Didn't seem like an issue before but now I'm more weary of logging in with amazon.com over there or even adding the address back in to ship things..

I think you're fine but for extra precaution, try NOT to send and receive using same IP addy. There's still no rhyme and reason for shutdowns reported so just enjoy it while you can while using your best judgment.
