I fly this route almost monthly, it's always some repetitive chicken or fish dish presented in a small casserole dish. Was flavourful and moist. And enjoyed their lovely Flagship lounge at BKK. Their contracted lounge at KUL: the Global Lounge was also better than the Golden Lounge in terms of quality of food. Sorry for the mini-rant. |

Full bar service on this flight (wine, beers and champagner), but a bit funny way the handled it. FA had all things on the trolley but always referred / went back to galley to fetch glasses from colleague who was pouring them there. Overall a great flight, friendly and chatty crew who even greeted me as a "foreign" OWE (including offering an extra post-departure / pre-meal drink + meal order taken 1st while still on the ground). |
First world problem, but I really wish that they wouldn’t do the peanuts in a plastic packet thing.
It doesn’t exactly say “J” ! |

I have been able to get beer on flights between KUL and BKK in C. Not sure about wine, I never asked for it...

I have a late night KUL-SYD flight in a couple of weeks - I can pre-select the usual options from the Chef on Call menu but looking at the on-board menu the only meal will be breakfast (which is fine - I'll be eating before getting on the flight) plus some snacks if hungry earlier.
So just curious - if I pre-select from the Chef on Call menu, would that be what I'm given for breakfast? |
Definitely no alcohol on biz between KUL and KTI.
