On 6 March I'm doing a photo-trawl through Central America - Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. I'm embarrassed to report that not a single hotel will be of the slightest interest to anyone here. I just hope I get out alive.

Well , take care , we do like hearing from you .
Perhaps you can scout & give AZ some suggestions so rest of us can ' trawl ' in comfort in years to come

Just figuring out when in March to return to Amano'i
Real walk in the park , no pun intended , compared to yours !

Currently at Mukul. I'd call this luxury. Very, very impressed with the product.

Will stay at the Rocco Forte in Sicily, as I will both Belmond options in Taormina.

Just planned Costa: El Silencio, Nayara, Four Seasons..

The FS Prague and the Ritz-Carlton Vienna.

Incidentally, does anyone know if smoking is an issue at the FS Prague?

Coming up over the next few months, happy to take any tips anyone might have:

March
Metropolitan by COMO, Miami Beach

April/May
Fairmont Singapore (probably doesn't pass muster on this forum, but hopefully a terrific use of a suite upgrade cert nonetheless)
GHM Chedi Club Tanah Gajah
Amankila (our first Aman!)

July
Westin Dublin
Aghadoe Heights Hotel, Killarney
The Cliff House, Ardmore
Mount Juliet, Co Kilkenny
The K Club, Co Kildare

Love that property! You're going to have a wonderful time--and eat very well there. If you like to venture out for a change of scenery or dining venue, we also had amazing dinners at the Mandarin (more Asian than Mexican, but very good nonetheless for a change of pace), the Rosewood, and the Banyan Tree. But we liked the Maroma the most for its authenticity, the great beach, and the high level of service.

Thanks, yes. We're gonna save the Rosewood for when we go WITH our son. He would love the little boats, the Rosebuds program, etc.
