I might try to do this, if they extended for me as well, but maybe I just go down to FTL - then I'll probably end up not flying LH at all...

Time to get miles credited is very inconsistent for me.

I got all my double status miles credited very easily until 16th October (within 5 working days): 10000 miles in total.

I then took: 2 flights on 17th Oct and 3 flights on 20th Oct for which I should have received double status miles but nothing has been credited yet. I just called M&M and introduced a request. The lady said they would come back to me with a correction or explanation within a week...

I need those miles to requalify for SEN, I really hope they will appear soon.

I have a few flights that haven't been credited either so maybe they changed something. I just hope it's not because I signed up to get more award miles and that I then cancelled the extra status miles.

The good news is that the promotion seems to be extended until 31st December 2009 as stated in an email I received from Lufthansa.

Actually, does ist state that you can get double Status miles on ALL booking categories, not only Business class? The wording "für Ihre Lufthansa Flüge" doesn't seem to include "C only" - I thought the promotion was only for C?

Not sure what the requirements for double status miles is but I just got the double status miles once (on the way out) but not on the way home.
Not that I really care as they are no help whatsoever, it was just an interesting observation.

booking class was S as part of a cheapo international PNR.

Isn't this the one they always run; allowing those with expiring status to keep it by giving double status miles for the last quarter?

The general promo for September and October obviously allowed everybody to earn, also those whose status was valid for another year.

@Cedos, Mawi, etc.: The german M&M website says that the double status miles are credited regularly every two weeks. So I´m waiting for the next status miles this weekend.

Wonder if OS and LO flights are also extended. I have a bunch coming up in C, woould help me nicely over the 100k barrier. (Without the promo, it looks to be 100.600 miles, very narrow margin of error)
