There is LY 356 leaving Fra at 22:50cet which you should be able to reach easily if on LH 4739 or why not takeLY318 and BA0163 leaving LHR at 22:30gmt going directly to TLV

A few connection questions for you FRA experts 
Arriving from CPH on SK in C and connecting to LH to JFK in F with a 75 min scheduled connection time.
SK from CPH seem to arrive all over the place and LH to JFK seems to leave from A. Should I go to the FCL B or go outside for some fresh air and a quick walk to the FCT?

Since you are arriving from Schengen I think it will be easier to walk to the FCT to go through passport control and security there than to go to the FCL B.

Hello everyone,
I am not familiar with FRA (tend to avoid it as much as I can), so I could use some advice regarding an upcoming trip.
I have the following itinerary booked:
- LH4743 LHR-FRA 06:25-08:55
- LH3516 FRA-BEY 10:15-15:00
So, I have 80 minutes to transfer. I'm trying to estimate the risk of missing the connection (expertflyer's reliability figures on LH4743 suggest that the flight 82% on-time, with an average delay of 20 minutes).
My key question is: do you know whether flights to BEY (Beirut) are subject to special/long security screenings?
Also, from LH's website flights from LHR seems to get always B gates (mostly BNS, bus gates) and flights to BEY appear to depart from B gates too. However, on FRA airport webiste LH incoming flights from LHR are indicated as arriving to a variety of different gates (A, B, C...?), which could add considerable time to the connection.
What's your view? The alternative would be to do an overnight, hence a bit of a pain in the neck.

A rule of thumb I'd apply in such a case is if lufthansa.com sells the itinerary. If they do and you are on one ticket they will look after you should the incoming flight be late and you misconnect. The worst that might happen is you'll be put on the 21:05 flight to BEY. If you are lucky they may reroute you via LHR.
From the information that I gathered here on FT and my memories of FRA, I have a feeling that it should be doable with plenty of time to spare IF the LHR flight arrives at B gates and the BEY one departs from B gates too (ie: a non-schengen to non-schengen B connection). But do all LHR flights arrive at B gates (who is correct, the LH site or the FRA airport one)? Or, will the BEY flight require additional security checks?
My problem is that I need to be in BEY in the afternoon, and all other possible flights arrive too late. Let's say that I wouldn't justify an overnight in FRA if my chances of making the connection were >90-95%.

Thanks for your reply NewbieRunner. I am trying to assess my chances; for example: is the connection doable with a 30-40 minutes delay (ie: with 40-50 minutes in FRA)?

Not all LHR flights arrive at a B gate or international arrival B (bus gate). For example, LH4727 and LH4739 arrrive(d) at a C gate today. On the Frankfurt Airport website I believe the letters A, B, C denote the hall in which passengers (and their luggage) arrive rather than the gates though there is some correlation. If you are connecting you won't go to an arrival hall, so this information is not relevant.
A connection (B non-Schengen to B non-Schengen) should be doable with 40-50 mins and I haven't heard of any additional security for BEY departure though I hope someone else will be able to confirm.
