Eurowings last week filed additional planned changes to its Dusseldorf long-haul service, for summer 2018 season. Additional filing changes sees the opening of reservation on flights operated by brussels airlines Airbus A340-300 aircraft, set to enter service from late-April 2018.

Eurowings in summer 2018 season plans to offer new route from Vienna to France, with new route offering on Vienna – Calvi market. From 06MAY18, Eurowings Europe Airbus A319 aircraft will serve this route once a week.

I learned on this forum that E2 is the code for Eurowings Europe, as opposed to normal Eurowings (EW). But how do I tell the difference? How do I know if I am sitting on a Eurowings Europe plane? I’m sure they don’t have their own logo.

E2 are the EW aircraft registered in Austria. They will have an Austrian tail number starting with OE- and have a small text "operated by Eurowing Europe" on the door which you should be able to see while boarding: Eurowings Austria Fleet | Airfleets aviation
LGW (HE) has also started flying under the EW brand with their 20 DH8 Aircraft and got some ex AB A320 that will fly under the EW brand: LGW Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter Fleet | Airfleets aviation

Thanks Oliver, I find this sort of thing quite interesting. Also, I quite like LGW (HE) and remember doing some flights with them in the early 2000s when I first went to Meiningen (DUS-CGN-ERF) on a very old aircraft with square windows that flew very low. It was almost like a Junkers 52 experience!

Eurowings in recent inventory update closed reservation for its planned Berlin Tegel – Frankfurt route, previously scheduled to commence on 25MAR18. Original schedule filing shows the airline would operate this route up to 4 times a day, with a mix of Airbus A320 and CRJ900 aircraft

DUS-WAW cancelled from 25 March. Currently EW operates this route twice a day (once during weekends). LOT operates the route three times a day Sun-Fri; twice a day on Saturdays, and will introduce larger aircraft on this route from April (734/738).

STR-WRO-STR 1-3-5-7 on Q400 starting March 26, operated by Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter.
The existing DUS-WRO-DUS service switches from A320 to LGW's Q400, but with increased frequency to six weekly (except Saturdays).

Eurowings at the launch of winter 2018/19 season is adding new long-haul route to Cuba, scheduled from 30OCT18. The airline will operate Munich – Havana route once a week, on board A330-200 aircraft (operated by SunExpress Germany).

Eurowings this week removed reservation for its first route not originating to/from Germany, Austria and Spain, previously scheduled in summer 2018 season. Briefly opened for booking on its website, the airline removed following route, including original route.
