That would be a deal

i paid about $900 more pp than the coach price from sfo-muc. Generall PE is twice the price of coach on an intl route

LAX--> FRA. next week. A380.
First, there's no guarantee whatsoever that it would be accepted.

Second, if it were to be accepted, I'd have the feeling that I would've gotten an op-up anyway, so I'd be kicking myself for paying anything.

Third, I find that if I get the right eco seat (on an A380 it's tricky, but rows 75, 76, 95, or any bulkhead [I'm skinny enough to appreciate seat width with IFE in the armrest] are best IMO), then I wouldn't pay for upgrade.

My two cents.

SFO-MUC tonight

Bid $625 pp from PE to C. Offer not accepted. I never yet had an offer accepted out of SFO for an Intl flight.A340-600. Wonder why they dont flyer A380 on this route for the 9 pm flight. More people would be willing to pay for C.

Almost imposibble. Looks like PE is full or over booked. Good luck and let us know

first time I'm trying the "My Offer" service.
I have 5 flights booked, but I'm only able to make upgrade offers for the first one.
is this normal?
is there a timeframe when the flights are open for the upgrade?

I have 4 upcoming flights with LH, between February 10th and March, 3th, 2018, and all 4 flights are available to upgrade with MyOffer (I have placed bids for 3 of these flights)

In my past experience, MyOffer was always available for all my flights, even when I had booked almost 8 months in advance!

And as far as I know, there is no restriction regarding booking fares, so I have no idea why it would not be available for you!

I think you need availability of the booking code your ticket upgrades to.

For example from Economy to PE it's:

Y, B and M will be rebooked to G
U, H, Q and V will be rebooked to E
W, S, T, L, K and X will be rebooked to N

So for example if you have a K economy ticket and there are 0 N inventory left, I don't think you will be able to bid to PE.

From my experience this is not correct, Just bid on W when only G was available

But honestly, finding bugs / mistakes / omissions / drunk translations on the LH/M&M websites isn't usually difficult. If you send in an e-mail, the very most you would receive is an e-mail. If you call them, they will say thank you. This is the contact point: Lufthansa Internet Service Center Deutschland, Berlin, +49 69 86 799 699 or [email protected]. Or if you log in, choose "Help", then "Help with LH.com" and use the contact form.

I look forward to receiving a portion of any miles (fantasy miles or otherwise) you may receive in return for my assistance.

just got my first offer accepted.
CGN-MUC from economy light to Business (P) for just 45€
maybe it wasn't worth since it's a 50min flight, but who cares, I just wanted to try this bidding feature.
I'll try surely always for this kind of upgrades – great feature!

How soon did you know it's accepted? It could be a good deal.
