In the new Senator lounge at EWR right now. While small, it really reminds one of a lounge in FRA or MUC. Hot food, cold apps, beer on tap. Hot food includes turkey pot pie, grilled zucchini, horseradish encrusted haddock, and strudel. I'm on SAS tonight, no way am I heading over to their lounge.

Also Moroccan lentil and chicken noodle soups. Overall, I think my only complaint is that there could be more room.

Is there any champagne, like in the previous senator lounge?
Is there any bar similar to senator lounges in B-FRA, or MUC?

Not seeing champagne. Lots of assorted liquor and wine out for consumption, including some reislings. Self serve. Much like it was in the old senator lounge here.

I will later, just boarded. But really, picture a smaller version of the newer Sen lounges at FRA. No showers.

All the Photos of the New Lounges You care to see!

Well I was flying on an award ticket on Sunday from PBI-ORD and I rerouted my award ticket to go via EWR to check out this new lounge...

Here is the entrance

Reception

Entrance to the Senator Lounge

Living Room

Buffet

A Peek into the Business Side- looks very similar (though apparently the booze and food offering is not as good as Senator).

Also the reception at LH seemed to think that SAS will turn the old Senator Lounge into some Corporate Offices.

Still, it looks like a great improvement over the previous excuse for a lounge...

Anyone access LH senator lounge with *G from A3 while on a domestic UA ticket yet?
Know of any rules against it?

Completely allowed- you just need to clear security in Terminal B to go. There is no inter-terminal transfer at EWR.
