Interesting! I was on Premium Economy few months ago and OS was much better than LH.
Having said that, OS had upgraded meal in PE when LH had regular Y meal.
LH was not terrible and had a choice in Y.
Flights were MRU-VIE and DXB-FRA.

To anyone interested, there was only 1 meal selection in Economy class on our LH FRA-MCO flight last week.
Interesting, the flight was catered by Gate Gourmet rather than LHG SkyChefs which I thought was owned by LH.

That explains it. I had not heard that so this is good to know. No more good German meals.
Yes, vegetarian pasta was the offering on both my OS and LH flights. No thanks.
While the meal is just a small part of the overall experience, I think I will stick with DL/KL/AF where there are still 2 meals choices in Economy.
Danke.

The pasta was tasty, although as you can see from the photo there was more tray than food.

I flew on RyanSwiss bet ZRH & TLV twice in the past 2 weeks. It was on a 321 they used to serve a full hot meal and now its a cold snack both at lunch and dinner time
To make matters worse the seats didnt recline
it would be 1 thing had the LH Group had LCC fares but they have Full Fares and treat you as if its an LCC

It's bad out there. I was surprised myself when I flew LIS-FRA in October, 2021 and service was still water and a small chocolate bar unless you wanted to pay. My previous LH flight had been in early March, 2020 and the difference was staggering.

First time on LH in 35 months I had a bottle of water (why Danish?) and a piece of chocolate on MAN-MUC. I posted a photo on Facebook and a friend remarked he only received water one way and a piece of chocolate on the way back between FRA and NCE.
