VFs wfu was supposed to be 30NOV13.
TH and TF will probably stay till the 748s start getting delivered in 2014:
D-ABYL 37836 31.01.14
D-ABYM 37837 28.02.14
D-ABYN 37838 31.03.14
D-ABYO 37839 30.06.14
D-ABYP 37840 31.08.14
The two A380s will come in February and March, so the A380 new C retrofit can begin and also provide some relief on the 748/744 VLA routes, accelerating the 744 retirement and creating spare capacity to do the 744 two class retrofit next winter.

It has not been a great success, that's for sure....
Orders/deliveries so far for the 747-8i:
May 30, 2006 Business/VIP 9/8
Dec 6, 2006 Lufthansa 19/9
Dec 7, 2009 Korean Air 10/0
Jun 15, 2011 Arik Air 2/0
Sep 11, 2012 Air China 5/0
Some of the VIP versions are rumored to have gone to Qatar and Kuwait..... must be nice to fly one privately :-).

According to the online tool which may not be 100% reliable all three flights on 26 Dec are currently showing new F.

At least I had a comfortable bed on which I slept about 5 hours.
That's not what I expect of LH F .... and I was on a paid ticket,

(and that was my first contribution to FT after a month of lurking. needless to say, if it wasn't for the fine members of FT, I'd be going around in circles)

I know the DEN/DFW/SEA-FRA operates on the 26 but it doesn't shows as the new LH F is available. The green light comes back out on the 27th Dec. though

I noticed that sometimes I have to click the link twice to get it to open on the right page. But it does work.

Yes, I've found that trick usually works as well.

Thank you. But for some reasons, when I checked 26 Dec., it says "Please check your entries. In the case of a connecting flight, please enter the relevant flight number."

Have the ratty old seats today on D-ABTH flight 446 Frankfurt to Denver. Quite a let down on a paid F ticket. The pathetic video monitor is perhaps the worst part. And just the general aesthetics as I think the new F is gorgeous.

Still it looks like including private customers, Boeing have sold about 40 or so passenger versions, and with the freighter version, Boeing has about 100 total orders. That is maybe halfway or so to break-even, so their sales folks are going to have to smoke out some new customers, or the program is not going to be a financial success.
