Guys I start to get crazy with this new fares....I got a ticket in P (like poor...) Biz Class; I got the upgrade to F at the gate in FRA.
How is it posible? The new rules for the upgrade don't says that now the status SEN means nothing and the upgrades goes by fare class?

Of course I was more than happy, but the very, very, strange thing was that 15 minutes early at the lounge they denied the upgrade with miles because it was not allowed by the fare rules...

For operational reasons - most likely overbooking...

That's totally clear, but, as far as I know, the new procedure for the upgrade in case of overbooking is to upgrade first the high fares (e.g. full fares)
