Hmm.. new strategy- sponsor "yourself" for the SEN card

My first trip as a SEN and I already got an op-up 10 Sep, KRK-MUC from Y(B) to C. The Y cabin was pretty full so I was very happy about that.

On this leg I was upgraded once as a FTL (on a award ticket) and once as a SEN. These are the only opups in 5 years of FF and nearly 400 legs with *A. You can to the math about the probability of a opup. But I should not complain, it seems some HONs have even less than that :-)

My 3rd op-up ever on an M&M airline, Y->C on SN BRU-VIE.
I snatched the last seat in the morning when it showed J2 Y1, everything else was 0, so I can't say the upgrade was unexpected. Glad it worked in the end. Only 1 row was b.business, while b.flex went quite far back behind the exit row.
On a sidenote - the first priority tagged luggage showed up about after 40 pcs of other luggage, my (only the 3rd priority label to appear) suitcase arrived well after 100 other bags (stopped counting after 100)

I've been reading this forum quite long time, but now I got a reason for my first post:

Yesterday 25 Sept. LH510 FRA-EZE, Y(M)->C as FTL. Got the new seat assigned when boarding in the C16 lounge in FRA.

Welcome to FT Hessu and congratulations for you op-up. Indeed the best flight to have it!

26-Sep LH401 JFK-FRA, Y(X)->C (myself and the wife, on award+companion bookings, called up while in the lounge)

First op-up, and first time on the A380 as well! Really excellent service onboard too, just about to put some compliments in via the website.

FRA-BUD, 28SEP, U (boarding pass: M) to C, economy full, still some seats left in C. At gate, automatic boarding gate printed a slip with new seat on it. My third op-up this year , always from or to BUD. No wonder, LH flights quite full after Malev went bankrupt in February :S
