Thanks Oliver2002! Now, for the second leg, let’s hope the UA site to apply GPUs to LH upgrade waitlist starts working soon. Per the other thread, i’m Getting the same “none available” error others are getting when there is space avail.

I am booked on LH450 FRA - LAX on Oct 19th.
Expertflyer shows the following: LH 450 F1 A0 J0 C0 D0 Z0 P0 G0 E0 N0 Y9 B9 M9 U5 H0 Q0 V0 W0 S0 T0 L0 K0
so all premium classes seem to be really packed - strange thing is that Expertflyer is not even able to show the Business Class Seatmap (Airport Checkin Only, even though the flight is in 15 days).
Any insights on this are much appreciated. Maybe a special case for Oliver2002 :-)

Just wanted to share some good news (for me) that this morning I woke up with an email from Swiss at 02:02 am saying my upgrade had cleared: "We refer to your wait list booking, and are delighted to inform you that we can now confirm the wait list for your requested upgrade as shown on the enclosed electronic confirmation."
So, I do see First - A booked/confirmed, and was able to assign (2A, since 1A was blocked/assigned) a seat. I am super happy this got confirmed early on, so now I can enjoy the true experience, from check in, lounge, etc...
Out of curiosity, how does the flight look now (LX 92 ZRH - GRU on 10/11/19)? How come they cleared already, and not last minute? I was really surprised...

I'm wondering if I will make it... (one ticket) basically, I had a connecting flight with G3 at 8:00am, but, today, I saw that flight was cancelled (I think its a 737NG and it seems they are grounded in Brazil: https://oglobo.globo.com/economia/go...ranca-24007545 ) so, they gave me a flight from CGH to SDU at 8:40, but I hated that as I'll arrive nice and relaxed in LX 1st and then have to schlep thru SP from GRU-CGH to catch that flight... so after lots of calling around I managed to get the 6:50 dept from GRU (but to GIG which is ok..) thing is... flight arrives at 5:30... so its super tight 1.20min and I tought MCT was 1.30? anyhow... I will post later how it all went,... was just curious to see loads... and hope I make it. I know someone said not to expect much from LX ground service in GRU, but would be awesome if they could assist me ....

So tomorrow is finally the "big day" (for me) to try LX 1st class ;-) Just one last (curiosity) check of how the flight looks if someone could share please?

I was on LX92 to GRU in July. The flight left ZRH late (around 23:15 as I recall it - LX92 was one of the only flights that waited for late incoming pax at ZRH), however the flight arrived GRU a bit early. There was no queue for immigration ( I arrived with LX in J) and the bags were delivered quite fast so I think that there is good chance that you will make to the GOL flight in time. As you are already aware, you clear immigration at GRU, collect your bags, proceed though customs, but I think the GOL flight departs from T2 so you need to walk from T3 to T2 - it is not a problem but takes up to 15-20 min. You should be able to drop the bags at the GOL transfer desk at T3 - watch out for it once you have cleared customs.
