LH455 on Aug 1 is F2 and J9 according to EF, but the seat map only shows 3 seats empty in J. Even including the 2 empty F seats, are they really willing to oversell J by 4, and potentially more since availability only goes up to 9, or are some seats blocked for some reason? I ask because I had a window seat which stupidly got lost and now I have an aisle and I would really like a window seat, especially since it's my first time on the 380, so I'm just trying to gauge the odds of being able to score one. Thanks!

I see 4 unreserved seats in F and 13 unreserved and 9 blocked seats in J. The load is F3 A3 J9 C9 D9 Z0 P0. I wonder if we are looking at the same flight.

Sorry, I meant Aug 1 but mis-typed. Now LH.com won't even let me change my seat for that flight?! It says "Seat reservations are not possible on this flight."

EDIT: I didn't realize EF showed seat maps. There are four bulkhead window seats available but blocked for pax traveling with infants according to the call center. I guess they will be released at the airport. Will try for those then. No idea why LH won't even show me the seat map any more or let me change my seat.

Or you can try when OLCI starts which can be more than 24 hours before departure that they advertise.

Hi All, trying to figure out if worth paying extra to get on this flight (potential Q Class fare). The price I am seeing is a United ticket will there be a change to change that to a Lufthansa ticket or is that also free? Thanks for the assistance. Logically wouldn't think too many people would fly out on the 1st but never know.

What I am seeing from expert flyer.

UA and LH prices are roughly the same. What are you looking for? Upgrade space to business?

Dear all, just wondering how much this has changed. I called LH today for another matter and checked on this reservation, and the agent told me that the flight was sold out in F and C, which I find it hard to believe. Hang up, call again, Swiss this time, and was told that 2 F seats available to purchase and C was wide open (yes, that I believe...). So, out of curiosity, can someone please, provide an updated specs on: LX 92 ZRH - GRU on 10/11/19. Thank you kindly in advance.

It looks like the second agent was right.

Thanks NewbieRunner. Indeed, 2nd actually cared and really looked. What sucks (for me) is that A0 is now a bad sign, and, F2 can be F0 easily... ... really hope I manage... I was really counting on it.. (to try LX F for first time.)

Thanks,
