Not to go too far OT but I got $15 for inop IFE in Mint a few months ago — didn't really bother me since I don't watch TV anyway and the wifi worked great, but felt somewhat insulting especially since I'm more used to UA's $100+ vouchers for broken IFE haha

I love it when the airlines say "just check our website" and the info is not there. And they say "just give us a call" but they do not answer the phone. Minor issue in this case, so no big deal.

I had reached out to twitter and got NO response, so you did slightly better than me! I see all the new menus on the site now though, just 3 days in to the month, not *too* bad!

The margarita is supposed to be very good. I wonder if this means they actually have tequila onboard. They were supposed to get tequila in 2019 but it never made it onboard, even though the company purchased it... nobody knows (or would say) where the minis actually went.

August/September Westbound Breakfast
No scone welcome snack was provided … which was described on the menu
Coconut yogurt, maple blazed bacon, quinoa pancakes, farm egg tart
COCONUT YOGURT - cherries, cacao nibs granola. This was just ok.
FARM EGG TART - roasted red peppers, fingerling potatoes. Pretty tasty, tart crust was perfect.
QUINOA PANCAKES - caramelized hazelnuts. This grew on me as I had it. The quinoa pancakes are a bit dry though. I ended up eating it with some of the yogurt.
Maple glazed bacon. They over did the maple and the bacon wasn’t crisp, some people like it that way though.

I’ll be having the eastbound lunch on Wednesday.
I'm planning on getting the lasagna, chicken paillard, and flat iron steak. Should have pics up by Thursday night at the latest.

Great! I'm excited for your meal . The lasagna is at the top of my list - I love a good lasagna, and that seems like something they could do really well on a plane! (And the gelato ... swoon!)

August/September Eastbound Lunch/Dinner
Al Pastor Margarita - corazon margarita, pineapple, chili, lime
Welcome Snack - roasted almonds
Vanilla gelato, flat iron steak, lasagna, and chicken paillard
Lasagna - late summer tomatoes, ricotta.
Could have used more sauce.
Chicken paillard - arugula, parmigiano, lemon
Pretty tasty, wish there was more arugula.
Flat iron steak - summer squash caponata (a traditional Italian dish of sautéed eggplant, vegetables, olives and onions)
Not bad, could use more of the accompanying caponata.
Vanilla gelato - roasted rum pineapple, vanilla crumble.
Nice dessert to finish the meal.
