and you need to book 3 weeks in advance everywhere even at places where it's 1 or 2 before weeks right now.

Just stayed in IC Istanbul and booked 2 rooms for 4 nights and 2 for 3 nights (14 room nights towards CTC) on F&F and never had a single problem - they didn't even ask for the voucher.
Fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it

Current Links For Friends and Family
I reviewed this pretty extended thread and tried the links for Friends and Family but they were invalid or non-operational. Could someone provide current links for the program? Thanks so much.

I had book IC Bali using FnF rates. No problem, and I'm using Steve Sickel on the main page link.

It seems that there are mixed experiences whether or not one will get points from a F&F stay. The points are not as important to me as getting the qualifying stay. I have read that there have been mixed experiences with this as well. Would it be safe to assume that this would count as a qualifying stay toward RA status?

While you can purchase the referral certs on eBay & etc. or trade for them on CC, the status is "earned" on an ongoing basis, and cannot be purchased like Ambassador membership. Many threads on this; here is one to get you started.

Should I still get points for extras?
I had a great stay at Holiday Inn in Ashkelon in Israel at a very good rate.
I booked 5 rooms for 2 nights each and got no points for the stay, and it was marked as a non-qualifying rate.
I also put about $1000 extras all on my room, which I did not get points for.
Should I get the the points for the extras?

I thought it may be that some are being dropped from Holiday Inn, but I can still book regular rates.
