Yip, just got this e-mail from PC

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thank you for taking the time to contact the Priority Club Service Center.

We confirm that the "Friends and Family Rate booking" would still qualify towards Crack the Case challenge. All "paying" reservation would count towards this offer.

Don't think the Cash + Points will qualify.

It doesn't because that rate effectively sells you Points for either $30 or $60 and then treats the booking as any normal Rewards Points Night

This is considered a Reward Points reservation as the cash is used to purchase the points for redemption.

It does not - except in Holiday Inn Express hotels where breakfast is ALWAYS included.

I'm just about to book 4 twin rooms for 4 nights using the F&F rate.

Does anyone have a link to an employee whose details are current, just in case?

Hi, I seem to be getting the following message "We're sorry but the page you requested might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
Temporary problem?

No upgrade on F&F rate when hotel is "full" - IC HKG

Just another data point. When checking in at the IC HKG I was told no upgrade for F&F rate as the hotel was full. Later this was clarified (when I pointed out that all categories of room were still bookable) as no upgrades for F&F once occupancy exceeds 80%. No idea if this is just their own twist on the matter or if it is more widely applied. Since there has been an official communication reported here that upgrades are not part of the F&F deal that seemed fair enough.

Other bennies were given - fruit, water etc - and the late check-out option was actively pointed out to me. So very happy overall with the F&F rate at this hotel.

PS They asked for the certificate.
