For more information about access to Crowne Plaza Club Lounges
Lounges via the 40/70 nights IHG1-rewards milestone benefit choice

! Read always the description of the room in the booking stage to see if access is included !
Getting access to the Crowne Plaza Club Lounge via a revenue booking is not that obvious, some hotels code access via
  • booking club room / suite only
  • booking room description with "premium" only
  • booking jr. suite or higher suite categories only
  • a seperate club surcharge upsell extra applies on the booking
  • having the name "Lounge Access" apart of room name

Index of Crown Plaza hotels & resorts with lounges

Depending on the region/market, Crowne Plaza lounges may/not include:
  • breakfast (buffet / la carte)
  • afternoon tea (buffet / tagire)
  • happy (cocktail) hour & hors d'oevres (buffet / canap platter)
  • self service fridge with drinks (non) alcoholic
  • private meeting rooms
  • specialist concierge services
  • additional services for revenue guests booking premium/club rates

Warning:
Lounge may have:
  • Limited operating hours
  • Open only on certain days of the week, and not open on public holidays
  • Some self-service fridges for alcoholic drinks might only be unlocked during happy (cocktail) hour & hors d'oevres times due to local/national alcohol policies

Explaination of abbreviations used :
CPCL: Crowne Plaza Club Lounge : has a designated Crowne Plaza Club Lounge
%: for currently closed: mentioned so on hotel website / app (closure: permanent/temporary? [ write[b] reason in bracket ]

Lounge Hours
Drinks Menu (Free)
Toothpicks are now an elite perk!

The tea service was fine, several tasty sweets served with your choice of juice, soft drinks or coffee/tea. "Cocktail Hour", however, was a bit of a disappointment: the lounge-page description on their website mentions a "light meal" served with your drinks -- what was served was a small plate with about ten chips/crisps and perhaps twenty mixed nuts, enough to absorb about 10ml of your first drink. Service was great, with frequent drink-refills, but no refills offered for the "light meal". (Of course, I wouldn't be a good FTer if I didn't push back on this, so I requested, and received, a refill but I could have sworn the building trembled a bit.)

Thanks for sharing this information !

Toothpicks .... ehm,
Light insulting as if you would give someone a deoderant as their birthday gift,
but it could be something unique culturally Japanese ?

At breakfast in the restaurant, Members are seated in a separate room (away from the riff-raff, I guess) and the toothpicks are added to the place-setting.

Crowne Plaza at Gerrards Cross has a lounge. Continental breakfast served in there and a small selection of snacks with alcohol in the evening. Nothing special

Helsinki - Hesperia

Lounge hours. A placard inside the lounge directs members to go to the first-floor restaurant for breakfast. A temporary thing? Seasonal? Only for weekdays? Don't know.

All-day snacking. At least ten jars of chips, nuts, candies, cookies, dried fruits, etc.

Evening spread. Drinks (local beer, Sangiovese, Riesling), cheese (Brie), breads, cakes/cookies, two daily salads and one daily "main" item. During my multi-day stay, only one "main" was hot (wings!).

HadesNL,
I confirm the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria has a lounge that operates throughout the day. Please help add the "V." I see you also put ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka twice in the 1st post. Thanks in advance!

I was at the CP Nottingham in May. Looked like a newly renovated space but there wasnt a lot to eat in the evening - just a bit of cheese and ham. Had a very bizarre conversation in there with someone who thought he knew more than me about IHG properties

CP Kobe, JP

Hello HadesNL I'm unsure if you could add CP Kobe as cpcl/v, although my DP is a bit old from June. I have a schedule in PDF, but I don't know how to upload here: lounge was open 3-9pm, tea service was 3-5pm, cocktail service was 5:30-7:30pm, both daily. Buffet breakfast was included for lounge guests, offered at the restaurant downstairs. Because of this, as a diamond, I could choose to receive 500pts/nt or something instead of free breakfast, I still received access to the free breakfast. I don't know if it's same for most, if not all properties with lounge.

During weekdays in June, it was as low as USD 50(!), it was a killer deal, though award prices higher than what I'd like. I'm sure it was even cheaper in 2020-2021, but risk having lounge closed or worse.

Lounge offerings were really nice for this price category. Afternoon tea starts with a pre plated sweets of about 3 pieces, plus buffet. Cocktail hours is the same concept, we got a plate of 3-4 hors d'oeuvre to start, plus buffet. All you can drink sake, beer, wines and spirits.

By the way, does anybody have experience with CPCL at Dubai Deira? It's one of the cheapies with lounge, and certainly the cheapest among IHG. I just sent them an email to inquire, though.

Update: I already received a reply, the lounge is open 12-8:30, with happy hour 6:30-8:30 with 'house bevs'. No mention of all you can drink nor afternoon tea.

Gatwick- Felbridge can be listed as verified. Lounge serves a limited breakfast, soft drinks all day and has some reasonable quality cold cut/cheeses/breads/olives etc in the evening that makes a reasonable appetiser. Alcohol served between 6pm-8pm.

It wasn't quite free flowing at CP San Salvador, SV. The alcohol was served by the attendant (I hate this system at hotels at this class), there was an unwritten rule of 2 alcoholic drinks per night, and I was made 'an exception' of having my 3rd the first night.

Then there were US airline crew giving him fivers per person, of course it was free flowing AND proactive refills for them🙄. I really wish they stopped spreading this tipping culture already 🙄

Look how sad the food was compared to Kobe...El Salvador isn't exactly known as a foodie destination 🍕🍔. They give out drink voucher at check in to elites, which was also good for basic alcohol, like Accor.
