Any useful additional information is always appreciative,
Can't promise but maybe i can find time in the future to make a masterlist of Crown Plazas per region with a club lounge.
As you know that could take a while as there are many more Crown Plaza hotels than Intercontinental hotels

So just to confirm.. the club lounges at BUD, SOF and LJU are all verifiably open? I don't see CL/G for these so assume they are.

Great work HadesNL . However, one that sticks out is Mzaar. I was looking at that for last Dec and I was under the impression there was no lounge. I will have to re-explore when I get a moment.

Just to add for Australia, The Sydney IC, Sydney IC Double Bay, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth have lounges. I am unsure about IC Sanctuary Cove, it may have closed.
In New Zealand the IC Wellington has a lounge as well.

Why to bring Dutch letter to English forum when that does not tell you anything without rolling up and looking what that could mean? I am sure "closed" is short enough word to write.

I chose the Dutch letter G because i already saw double with square eyes of to much letters C
Also in the event a closed lounge will reopen (or even stay permenant shut)
The search function to amend with CL/G is easy for me out of habit than C = closed

But i aim to please the readers so i shall change the letter G for closed for more comfort in search function into symbol %

I ask this because I stayed at IC LJU in June. When I booked a Club room (literally 3 days prior to the stay) it listed Club access etc in the room details and reservation confirmation. When checking in they said that the CL was closed and had been closed since the pandemic, and due to staffing issues hadn't been reopened. I showed them my reservation on the app which clearly stated access to the Club Lounge, but they just shrugged it off and offered me some F&B voucher as comp.

It means I no longer rely on what the app says or even what's listed on my reservation details prior to check in. This initial list is a good sanity check to root out the places where lounges are definitely still closed but what will be most valuable are on-the-spot reports to keep it accurately updated.

In any case, after the LJU experience I'd still phone the property before making a final decision on booking.

SOF was similar to LJU during the Covid times. It was selling club rooms, however lounge was closed. Benefits were provided in the restaurant + IIRC there was a free minibar.
I was wondering is it a good idea / is there a way to flag CL as verified based i.e. on recent experience/reports?
