a good use of the points, the hotel is taking care of you and it is one of the more expensive CPs ;-)

CP Porto. They have introduced a lounge in the lobby floor. As Spire, I was offered to choose between points and lounge. Latter it was and happy. Not a huge space but the offerings, both food and drinks were nice.
And again, upgrade to Junior Suite from cheapest available.
And bus stops next door, works fine for cityhopping if you are frugal. My place to go.

Paid / award night: Paid - MOD DDS Rate.
Breakfast in restaurant: Granted when the duty manager (who checked me in) recognised me and that I am a regular guest.
Club lounge access: Granted
Club lounge services / Evening Canapes and a few free drinks. I had Breakfast in the restaurant rather than the free offerings in the lounge.
Other comments: Also given an 'upgraded' room - ie contained 2 bottles of water and a chocolate bar!
