I bookmarked the IHG Community page concerning Pointbreaks where they are announced:

Preview is kind of up now, looks good. Can't see properties but only cities but maybe that's because I'm on awful connection in Managua.

wow if that's the whole list then for the UK, it's the worst one in ages. One HI in, wait for it, Rotherham!

Yes, preview is up.

When clicking on each location in the list - the specific hotel's website will open.

Nothing exciting, again, though a few properties will suit my travel plans quite well.

Southend is also on the Loyalty Lobby list. It is a cracking hotel next to the airport, however the railway station is also next to the hotel and its under an hour into Central London.

If those are the only two UK ones it is disappointing.

IHG is kind enough to put a PB hotel one block from a workshop I am attending in October

Generally MEH; except for one near a client where I am billing xxx and paying my own expenses for a one week training session.

The last is mediocre, a few gems in there but that IC in Vietnam will be during the rainy season I believe. C'est la vie.

If you don't want to have to click through to find out what hotel is being offered it looks like the complete list is available on the Loyaltylobby

The PB list...

Standouts for me are:

Paramus NJ property - can bus to NYC
Vancouver WA (or South Portland OR property) - about 12 miles to Portland
Dallas Park North property - a bit north on the highway of downtown dallas

Is Beaumont, CA an easy drive to the Palm Springs, CA area? Close enough to do touristy things without feeling like you're in the car all the time? Only have 3 days side trip from LA.

Another possibility is San Diego Staybridge Suites in Mira Mesa. Never been to CA before. Staying in LA but want to detour for a weekend. First preference was Palm Springs (already have a paid reservation there). Beaumont or San Diego for a first time CA visitor???

San Diego over Blow-mont any day. I have lived in the Palm Springs area as well as San Diego. With 3 days I would head to the San Diego area- Lots of choices…
