Worth It!
Hey all, just recently got back from our amazing honeymoon trip. In total we did 6 nights in Bora Bora split between Thalasso and Le Moana. We followed that with a 24 hour stopover in Auckland, then two weeks in Australia at Brisbane, Great Barrier Reef area (Port Douglas), and Sydney. Nearly all of the flights and hotels were paid with points.
I'm giving that background in case anyone wants to PM and ask non-Thalasso questions. And also to say that out of all the places we stayed on this trip (there were some nice ones), absolutely nothing compared to Thalasso! I will be doing a full write-up with comparisons to Le Moana later.
For now I will just say that we stayed in the Otemanu view bungalow 219 for 2 nights and Sapphire bungalow 226 for 1 night. The view from 219 was absolutely stunning! The stay was worth every second of obsession that it took to get those nights. Still dreaming about the motu a month later....
