Physical difference between an Asian (left) and African (right) elephant.
African elephants are distinguished from Asian elephants in several ways, the most noticeable being their much larger ears. Also, the African elephant is typically larger than the Asian elephant and has a concave back. In Asian elephants, only males have tusks, but both males and females of African elephants have tusks and are usually less hairy than their Asian cousins

I am positive that it is Royal Chitwan National Park, Terai region, Nepal

Hello all,

I have cracked this one!
Following the leads in this thread I have done some searching. It turns out that the location is Royal Chitwan National Park, Terai region, Nepal without doubt.

Check out this picture:

The tree (the picture) is the same as used in the challenge image.

Lets stack up the points!

Cheers
P

Well now we know why entries are required to be specific...

Some good ideas so far, looks like it is definitely in Asia, the clue would suggest this too.

Where are the flash hackers that got all the clues ahead of time last time?

Careful, folks, The park was renamed Chitwan National Park. The word Royal was dropped from the name. Official reference: http://www.dnpwc.gov.np/national-parks-chitwan.asp

So there is the Crowne Plaza in Nepal. According to the website, besides royal chitwan national park (on their website which is mapquest) there is also shivapuri national park and longtang national park. Could it be one of them?
