Hello Need advise
I have 34k Jetpriviledge miles that are expiring in Sept. And unfortunately due to bad health am unable to travel anywhere for the next few months.. Any suggestions on what i could do to make good use of it rather let them expire?
Can i use it at Marriott.. am a Marriott Silver metal holder
or transfer it to my spouse ?
or book tickets for family ?
or move it to Star Alliance family program ?

Any advise.. thanks a ton in advance

Sorry to hear about your health and hope you get well soon
you can book tickets for others (family) - you can do it online and the process is the same as booking tickets for yourself - I do it all the time

you cant move the miles to any other program AFAIK

Travel & Health Insurance

I am looking to buy multi-trip insurance cover which covers for trip cancellations and health cover during personal travels worldwide. Any recommendations from fellow FTers ?

Thanks!

Need urgent advice please jet prvlg

Advice needed. I am travelling to Europe next week. The class of ticket is P and T which in my opinion do not qualify for points on Jet Privilege. In such case since Lifthansa is part of Star Alliance where even Air India is now, do I give my Air India number.

For me though Jet is much better as redemption is fast, convenient and excellently valued at times. Following is link to Jet Lufthansa partner site showing classes eligible.

So should I put in other Star Alliance FF numbers such as AI, Turkish etc ? Or create accounts with LH or UA etc?
Thanks in advance

India-based Airlines Chai Stall

What is a decent fare? With all the fare wars around I understand deals are part of Indian skies for the moment. However is there a rule of thumb for average revenue per km flown that would break even a decent run domestic airline (go air, indigo, spicejet vs AI).

T earns 25% on LH and P earns 0. Both fares earn 0% on AI. T earns 100% on UA, but P earns 0%. Given the one way earning is going to be only about 4.5K miles, this journey would get you about 1K miles on LH or 4.5K miles on UA. UA miles expire in 12-15 months if you don't use the account!

Has anyone here visited Bhutan? Worth it? Can I get in with an OCI card?

Am thinking / wanting to go to Bhutan. Seems the high season is upon us as the rates are $ 250 PP per day !.. Too rich.

I do five star cruising (Celebrity) for around $ 100 PP per day !

So will wait for next visit to India.

pls let me know if you find good packages.

My kids passport has been renewed and according to the High Commission website it states that the OCI needs to be moved which can take 12 weeks. We are travelling in a few weeks so can I still travel with the old passport and OCI card? We won't have time to move OCI to new passport. Or do I need to get a Visa which seems silly.
