- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

I sent data on the 4th and haven't received anything other than the automated message received email... They really have poor communication. If it wasn't for this forum I would just think they are scamming me or something.

I'll give them a break for being overwhelmed and wanting to verify that people are real. So, if it takes a few more days to process everything, I understand.
On the other hand, once they get to my email, confirm that I'm whom I say I am, I expect the Avios to post. An email about "inconsistencies" when I met the T&C and fully complied with all their social media postings would be nothing more than fraud.

sent wednesday and friday last week and received a confirmation of receipt on friday and saturday yet just got another one now saying its been received... like they haven't a clue

I look forward to hearing about the credit card accounts being shut down for 10 frivolous chargebacks, when the most basic of checks will show that Iberia indeed provided the e-tickets purchased.

Just received an e-mail saying they're overwhelmed and asking for more time. I sent in my documents on July 3. I haven't harassed them as this mess has me almost preferring the refund e-mail.

To be fair, it's a bit messier than that. The flights were purchased through a promotion and that promotion wasn't honored. At least in the US that's a bait and switch. The tickets were purchased from the US site and issued out of Miami, so it's U.S. jurisdiction.
