- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

90k posted in my account within the last three or four hours
Can't book online but I am really pleased with how Iberia has handled this.
Is anyone else getting the message:
"To be to use your Avios we ask that you contact your Iberia Plus Customer Service Centre: (+34) 91 374 24 42. We apologise for the inconvenience."
Is that a problem with the online reservations, or an account verification issue?

Availability is almost completely gone for the timeframe I was going to book my parents' surprise trip to Spain (whereas it was wide open as of a few days ago). So them delaying the posting for new accounts completely screwed me and now the whole plan is essentially blown for me.

My account opened a few months ago with new Chase card. Bonus Avios deposited a short while ago and I just successfully booked two tickets Norfolk-Madrid via American (Philadelphia)--84K Avios + $235 total for both. We had intended to return on a Sunday (flights were available when I started this adventure on 6/24) but now have to return on Monday. One extra day in Madrid--c'est la vie!
My wife's account opened on 6/24. Account was blocked like other newbies/I submitted form & copy of passport last night. I just successfully accessed account via App PIN reset but showing 0 Avios. Flights do show up/Charges are posted on CC/Avios #'s are on reservations and I manually entered on website 6/25--so am hopeful her points will show up soon. We plan to use those for Norfolk-LGA trips, so doubt the onslaught of freshly minted Avios worldwide will burn through all of those available flights!

Booked flights on 6/22 with an account that is 6 months old and no points posted yet. Created an account for my wife on 6/23 and booked flights, her account was locked and we have already sent in the form and copy of passport. Now we are able to access her account using the app to get a new pin, but all of her bookings no longer show her IB+ number on the reservation. Her flights still show up under the bookings tab when she logs in, just no number attached. They were there up until her account was locked. I have copies of the confirmation emails showing the number attached. Has anyone else run into this problem? Just wondering if i should reach out to them or wait and hope it gets resolved when they verify her ID.
