Based upon requests, this is now a wiki - please feel free to edit - but please only post the suite that you are confirmed into and not what you ultimately get (eg PH Vendome books into Park Suite but many ultimately get a Park Executive Suite). I'll start with that one for formatting example - I will try to do refinements to this when I have some time later.

To check the room type you booked into, you may use Hyatt E-Concierge:

Grand Hyatt Kauai

1. Grand Hyatt Kauai
2. Ocean Suite, 4th Floor Poipu Wing
http://kauai.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/...cale=&start=12
3. 1,050 Sq Ft
4. Very large living room area with wetbar. Two very comfortable chairs and sofa. Dining table and four chairs. Small refrigerator in wetbar area. 42" flat screen HDTV's in each room. Very large bathroom, with both bath tub with jets and shower. Both living and bedroom areas had sliding doors to balcony that ran the length of the room (I estimate 30 feet long) with two nice padded chairs, a table and a chaise lounge, which were new. Very comfortable.
5. I rate it an A.
6. Oceanfront with very nice view.

Room was very similar to the suite upgrade we had a year ago. I don't believe it has been renovated, although the other rooms in the Poipu Wing have been renovated.

1. Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk
2. Riverbend Suite
http://www.sanantonioregency.hyatt.c...cale=&start=14
3. 500
4. Parlor Suite, 1 BR, 2 BA
5. It was more that sufficient for one person for a few days, I barely touched the living room...the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful
6. I had booked a very favorable rate through a conference so I was very satisfied with not only the upgrade but the entire staff was extremal friendly.

1. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, NV
2. The front desk called it one of their two Presidential Suites. It is named "Rubicon Bay," Room 1212. We were also given an adjoining room with two Queen beds.
3. I would estimate 1,600 sq. ft. total between the suite and additional adjoining room.
4. 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms.
5. A. It's hard to complain about a top suite in the hotel. Main downside is that the suite is dated, as noted below. In the summertime, I think I'd prefer one of the lakeside cottages, but this is good for winter.
6. All rooms have a view out to Lake Tahoe. The suite itself seems very dated, however. The space is here, but the furniture and decor could use a major facelift. The suite has a big living room and a bedroom with a King bed. I am not sure why we were given the extra adjoining room with the two Queen beds. It seems to me they could have sold that room as a separate room while fulfilling their obligations with respect to the Diamond Suite Upgrade, but I'll take it nonetheless. The suite is on the 12th floor. There is an internal staircase at the elevator lobby down to the 11th floor, which is where the Regency Club resides. It's nice to be a Hyatt Diamond!

Wow, I just scored at the GH San Antonio-

Suite Upgrade netted me a roughly 1,700sf, 2 bedroom, 3 bath suite. GREAT room. Main bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom (its a connecting room) has 2 double beds.

Between the 2 rooms is the living room with a living room, dining table, bar area, and another bathroom.

This has to be one of the best uses of a suite upgrade I've had so far!

Loving the hotel. So glad i chose it over the HR; even though that has a better location, this is the superior hotel and still plenty close to riverwalk

2 rooms booked at GH Berlin. One upgraded via hotel to grand suite king. Hotel said no availability for other room. PLA upgraded 2nd room to grand executive suite. V happy. Now just have to decide if I'm generous or keep the better suite for myself

1. Park Hyatt Melbourne
2. Park Suite King
3. 55 square metres
4. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom
5. A
6. On the same floor as the lounge. The bathroom is a slightly odd shape but there was a very nice corner spa with TV inset, double basin, large wardrobe space, TV in the living area with CD and DVD players and another TV in the bedroom. Sliding doors separate the living room from the bedroom. It was very comfortable, although it did lack a turndown (I only had the do not disturb light on from about 5.30pm to 6.15pm) and the Diamond food and beverage amenity was just a bottle of wine.

On current 12 night stay - 4 nights left (used 2 certs just before the exp date)

2. Regency King Suite
3. 74 sqm
4. Liv rm/bedroom/bath w/ dual vanity
5. B+, very nice suite - just wish was slightly higher. Im on 11th floor - but thankfully on pool side. Street side at that level would be really noisy!

I've always been able to use mine. Usually wish I had more. I've usually only used internationally.
