Bilt Explorist / Globalist Fast Track promotion 2023

Recent Bilt promo announced -- stay 20 nights, get Globalist through Feb 2025. For those of you eager to have the Glob-lites washed out of the system, they're about to join in even bigger numbers, and for an even longer stretch of time!

While there will be some that mattress run it - 20 nights in 90 days is a faster pace than earning actual globalist so I don't think there will be huge numbers that wouldn't have earned Globalist anyway.

So, what is the normal "pace" for earning actual Globalist?

I'm tired of these 5-night-a-month Globalists. Hyatt is really devaluing the program with them. If you're not staying at least 40 nights a month, like me, you shouldn't be allowed to walk through the door.

I mean full disclosure, I already have 5 nights booked during the promo period, so yeah obviously I'm going to mattress run 15 nights to get 2 years locked down. I'll worry about the TSUs later.

Barely 30 nights a month? If they're doing anything more than throwing a few club access passes your way I'll be royally peeved.

I had a conversation with one of the people in the concierge department recently and they're already overwhelmed by the huge number of Globalists from status extensions/promotions from previous year.

20 night Globalists won't get concierges, just as the prior 30 night Globalists didn't get them. Nor was there any general status rollover for 2023.

If concierges are overwhelmed, it's because Hyatt has not hired enough of them to make up for departures.
