Lots of ways to do it. They could put a banner on the website in advance. They could send emails. They could add a notification to an otherwise regular email they send.

They send emails to every WoH member all the time. I don't know why it would be difficult for them to send an email, but it definitely wouldn't be difficult to add a banner to the website pre-maintenance.

There is a reason that Hyatt is spelled Hyatt, and not HyIT.

Anyone else also receive misdirected emails for upcoming stays for some other member?

This assumes the maintenance was planned.

I got 2 emails for someone else’s glamping reservations in Big Sur. I never even knew Hyatt offered glamping. Only $80/niight. :)

Yes yesterday I received one too for someone else's upcoming reservation. Full name, rate, stay info. Not good.

That sounds like my res :(, thats just the camping the glamping is north of $200. FWIW I got someones res for the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, pretty much all the details. Sounds like they had some DB corruption, which is why they took down the website while they rolled it back.

Website problems?

Am I the only having trouble logging in to hyatt.com? I tried last night and got a maintenance message. Now, I get to the main page, but when I try to log in, it just goes into load mode and never stops.

This was happening to me on my app login last night as well. Hyatt and AA are partners for a reason... just sayin' :D

Same; many others reporting the same thing, for example on Downdetector and this Reddit thread. Hopefully it will be fixed within a few hours!
