I'm still being auto-logged out after every use. Hyatt's has become perhaps the most dysfunctional app that I regularly use.
|
Same here. Logged out every time I close (iOS swipe up) and reopen.
|
I don't even need to force-close it to be logged out... if I go back in a few hours later, I still have to log in (Face ID doesn't even work). Maddening but something I'd imagine can be fixed pretty quickly (?)

When you click on Send App Feedback in the Contact section (to report this ridiculous log in bug), you get a completely irrelevant survey…

I called the “Global Contact Center” per message in app telling me my account was locked. She said no one else has called about app problem. Her only advice was to change my password, which I did via the link she sent. So far so good, it seems to be working properly again for me.

Now can't log-in at all - "server error"
Will add that the log-outs are particularly annoying because of this app's non-standard log-in protocol, which requires both last name and member number plus a password. This confuses Apple's password manager, which always tries to replace the member number with my last name, resulting in a failed log-in. |

Member number, last name, and password is what I enter at the web site, but Firefox's password manager only recognizes the password field, leaving me to enter my member number and name. My question is how do password managers work? Is it poor coding that confuses the password managers, because the fields are not identified correctly? Is there anything a user can do to educate a password manager? |

I'm going a bit off-topic, following up on the password manager issue.

Probably an issue with certain subset of phone models, haven't experienced this yet myself

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the app today? I'm getting logged out every time I swipe out of/close it, and it's incredibly frustrating.
Curious if this is a thing. khabah |
I see a new version of the iOS app just released. Have not had the chance to test out if it fixes this bug (mine is iPhone 16 Pro Max on iOS 18.3.1).
Edit: Opening the app after updating, and I was still logged in! |

It's also happening to me. It logs me out all the time if I close the app. I'm on the newest IOS and iPhone. It never happened until the most recent app update.
It appears to be cured for me (at least temporarily) as of about 30 minutes ago. |
It’s working normally for me again since this morning!
