Strangely enough it worked if I used a VPN. It was for the second week in December. I wonder if I was searching too much for a certain set of dates and it triggered something on Hyatts end from my IP.

I find if I do too many searches at once, the website "stops working". I have to clear my Hyatt cookies and start over. I'm using Chrome. It's super frustrating as it's not more than 15-20 searches (looking at different hotels and/or date combinations).

... and i've had this situation a lot since Hyatt is so archaic / too lazy / doesn't listen to its significant users / doesn't prioritize and implement a monthly calendar of rates (aka "Flexible Dates", "Shop by Price) . Hyatt must enjoy wasting loyalty members' time to search each calendar day, one by one ...for one property, then another property, and so on,... resulting in hundreds of specific searches And my My Hyatt Concierge says"But we have AI search", to which i reply ... it doesn't work ! 1. Monthly Calendar of Rates for ___ property. I entered those words and of course, no monthly calendar 2. Hyatt Promo in USA at Hyatt Regency properties. I considered staying at Regency properties, with a Regency Club. So, in AI search wrote "Hyatt Regencies, in USA, with Regency Club" and search result gave 100 Regencies, but most did NOT have a Club. Oh, yah, Concierge and Hyatt, thanks for wasting more of loyalty member's time ... and by the way , in the property description or summary, why not put an icon or check-mark beside an item labelled "Has Club Lounge" ? It's quite possible that Hyatt doesn't have an item in property database "Club Lounge" and/or doesn't have a list in PDF form of properties with a Club Lounge that it can provide to members. |
Hyatt app and website are currently down for "housekeeping"...

I finally had the experience others have had here - I spent the morning doing some travel planning for next summer and Hyatt.com simply stopped responding at all after maybe 10 searches. I turned on my VPN and got 1 more search in before that stopped, too. It's been at least an hour and I am still locked out. So strange!! It continues to work fine on my phone and iPad.

1. without logging in (these could be your "overview" / "getting a general idea" of rates) 2. then login and do more searches Also, i make handwritten a spreadsheet of properties with first column the calendar date and other columns the properties of interest (and i have three rows to identify each property). At first i focus on a narrow set of dates, then expand before and after that narrow date range. And i'm populating the rates night by night. Hyatt is the only, of top 4 to 6 international hotel groups, that stops working at some random number of searches, after which you need to clear cache, clear cookies and re login Hyatt inability to search on "Club Lounge" is deja vu of IHG pre & post Covid. This hasn't yet become a problem as i've been doing some long stays and focusing moreso on different brands... 27 within 5.25 months.. (ie no tick-box for CL, AI search doesn't give results of only properties with CL, no icons or words in property description saying CL , no list from Hyatt) |
It's still Thursday here, but the app won't let me select today's date for check-in when making a booking. Anyone else seeing this?
Seems like it might be applying Eastern (or Central) US time as the cutoff, even if in a different time zone. |
Current stay removed off the app and just shows next stay. Annoying since I can't review room charges or make requests via the app.

Same issue on Eastern time, can't select the current day as the check in date after around 7/8 pm.

Anyone else experiencing issues with the website and app? Searches taking longer than usual and returns "contact the hotel" for every property.

Strange they haven't fixed this. Webpage still works, but they sometimes have promos requiring app bookings so would be out of luck on short notice bookings in that case.
