Interesting promo… Does charging dinner to the room trigger this? Or is there something specific about providing the WoH number that only works at the restaurant?

haha. Fair enough.

Sounds like a lot of servers have no idea how to do this. So this must be a lot of breakage with this promo.

Seems like I may finally have something for MHC to do.

Wanted to take advantage of this promo even while local. Too bad the dining options in the Bay Area look very uninspiring.

Nari at Hotel Kabuki in SF Japantown looks pretty good.

Any Hyatt restaurants in Los Angeles/Orange County or San Diego that have good non-breakfast meals?

That looks pretty good, but that hotel doesn’t show up in the participating hotels list, and even if it did I wonder if that restaurant is Hyatt operated or just a tenant.

I think it's just a tenant.

Re: restaurants.

- Watertable in HB is pretty good -- although I actually really like their breakfast and sometimes go there even when I'm not staying there.
- Ember & Rye at the Aviara is pretty good, and definitely participates in the program.
- etta @ The Shay is good -- though they may just be a tenant also. The last time I ate there they hadn't figured out how to do a room charge yet -- but that was shortly after the hotel opening.

A reminder that even if you are staying at the property, you can still get the 3x points by explicitly not charging it to your room -- and just running it directly to your Hyatt card instead.

I do want to try Etta. Anyone have a data point on this one?

Edit: Looks like The Shay isn't even a participating hotel, so that takes care of that.

Nari is fantastic, and NOT part of this promo. The other Bay Area restaurant affiliated with a Hyatt that seems worth going to is Acacia House, at Alila Napa, and that too is not part of this promo. Boo.

Mods, since my new thread on this was wrapped into a wiki, can you please update the thread title showing that the promo now goes through Dec 20, 2022? Thanks.

It now says Feb so folks might think it's over
