Perhaps visits to Blue Duck Tavern will help me whet my appetite, in more ways than one... |

No, Lifetime Globalist will be given when 1 million base points is achieved. There is no spend requirement as such.
But I’ve had LT Glob for years so don’t really think about it much anymore |

My memory tells me that is the same thing in spending

TBH, some ppl easily spend $200K on those useless timeshares.

The days are long in the past, but I had many stays on points over the years where, when I used a suite upgrade, I got spend and points credited as if I had purchased the suite. I doubt that's the DC reference, but a few hotels where I often stayed years ago did give me tens of thousands in incorrectly allocated spend. Maybe it's a mistake like that?

I am closer to LT status and prob around 25k spend away, what I have realized after some recent spend is that alcohol, parking and taxes aren't included as part of the base points requirement, that makes it quite frustrating.

Can someone please help refresh me on this one? I had to take a break from Hyatt's over the last 5 years so did not accumulate very much with them, however, I am only 200,000 base points from 1mm. My understanding is that I still get 5 base points per stay? I ask, because I have 3 trips in the next 4 months (work/vacation trips in expensive locations) where I could easily spend $40k in rooms only and want to make sure I can get lifetime globalist, which has some benefits I guess. Am I still correct about this? The only way to see your lifetime base is on the account email they send out now and then which I am over 800,000 base points.
Thanks for clarifying. |

Do advanced, non-refundable spend still earn base points if you end up having to change plans and can't stay? Say you paid or pre-paid for a non-refundable room with the advanced rate. They charge your card immediately but then your schedule changes and you can't stay in that room. It's non-refundable, you paid it but can't stay.
I presume you won't earn elite nights for the stay since you didn't actually stay but because you paid does it count towards lifetime spend and you still get the 5x Base plus 4x bonus (assuming you paid with a Chase Hyatt card)? |

Do LT Glob bennies stack?
Am I understanding this correctly?:
1) If I clear 1M base points in early December 2024, I will receive 4 TSUAs, 5 GOHAs, 1 C7 cert and MHC by mid/late Dec 2024? 2) The next time I’ll get 4 TSUs, 5 GOHAs, 1 C7 cert and MHC will be 3/1/2026? 3) When I check out from my 60th night on 12/28/2024, I’ll still get 4 SUAs, 5 GOHs, 1 C7 cert and 1 C4 cert on 3/1/2025? And no diff if I requal prior to LT Glob? 4) Then if I continue to stay 60 nights, the above will stack on 3/1 each year? |

You will get the suite upgrade awards, GoH awards, and the cat 1-7 award on or around 1 March 2025. 3) is incorrect. You will not get a cat 1-4 award on 1 March 2025. 4) I'm not sure what you're asking. You will get the suite upgrades, GoH, and cat 1-7 awards on or around 1 March as a LTG. You will also earn awards by reaching Milestones each year in addition to those you receive on 1 March. |
Silly questions: does anyone has any datapoint if you get anything (one off reward and/or permanent perk) when reaching 2m base points?
