You get the 4 upgrade awards and the Cat 1-7 free night award when you cross the threshold. If you make it this calendar year, the suite upgrades will expire the end of Feb 25.
If I become LTG this September or October, will I get 4 SUA at the time and another 4 on January 1st when I renew for 2024 (on top of the 9 Milestones ones over the course of 2023)? |
Yes, but the renewal LTG SUAs will hit your account 3/1.

Waou so after having already used 5 this year I'll start 2024 with 16 SUAs...for the first time in years I'll struggle to use them... |

I was thinking to reach the threshold in 2025 but due to an unexpected long stay at the HR Churchill on top of the usual short work stays in France and Germany and holidays and weekends around the globe (128 nights YTD and counting) I just became Lifetime Globalist.
Currently staying at the SLH Domaine de Manville for a long golf weekend…will need to find a way to celebrate? https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5bb92b01f.jpeg |

Quarter way there… will be dead before I get there at current pace :) |
I think I'm 6 years Globalist but nowhere near lifetime unfortunately - have used points for too many nights. Wish they could give lifetime for 10 yrs and 500 or even 1000 nights. If it could be like old Starwood, that'd be nice

1,000 nights at Excalibur is $20,000-$30,000 that’s 10-15% of the current price tag of $200,000 and I’m sure Hyatt’s cut is significantly less because it’s a partnership. |

While you did a long stay at Churchill you did short stays elsewhere and got credit and benefits for both? That's how a program should work but I thought you couldn't get credit on the same night. When I've had long stays, I intentionally switched to other chains so as not to sacrifice/ risk getting disqualified from the points and nights etc from the long stay
