Front desk already said no food is being served but just coffee and tea, and it really is.I will update if I see anything more at other times, but seriously I don't understand why would they open a lounge with nothing inside, at the minimum they should put some chips and sodas

Stayed here for 1 night on a Park Stay Fly package, which was an extraordinarily good deal at ~$200 for one night, including 10 day parking. Got upgraded in the app the night before to a Premier Tower Studio Suite, which was spacious, clean, and felt newly renovated. The premier tower rooms are gorgeous and have modern furnishings and accents. Really enjoyed my one night stay here! Shuttle is very convenient to get to the airport - they have ~3 running at all times and pick up every 15 minutes on the dot. Takes about 5-10 minutes to get to the airport depending on which terminal you're at. They also have a website that tracks the shuttles!

I agree it is great for parking at the airport and since I hit globalist I either get the new tower or a suite upgrade. It also took me a few stays to realized that there is a parking garage attached to the outside lot so you can park you car out of the snow in the winter.

I had my 2nd stay here - this time, by choice - before a 5 AM flight this morning - here are my updated impressions:
Pros:
Cons:
Photos:
Pros:
- Upgraded the morning of arrival to a Panorama Suite, which is a bi-level suite in the circular tower sections of the older Atrium building - parlor, desk, and dining on the 10th floor and a normal King Tower room accessible via staircase on the 11th floor (no elevator access to 11 outside of the room either)
- Views are quite good - lots of planes getting very close
- The bed is one of the most comfortable I have seen in a North American Hyatt Regency - plush mattress, plush pillows, and they have updated the covers to make them more plush and fluffy
- Shower pressure is good - the stalls are small, but the curtain and whole setup works better than you would think
- Shuttle service worked well and was right on time at 3 AM
Cons:
- Someone identifying themselves as Security tried to enter my 11th floor bedroom at 7:30 PM, waking me up, because “they thought it was vacant” - odd and annoying

I had 2 1-night stays here. The shuttle bus from ORD took a while to arrive, but there was significant traffic in the area. The shuttle was prompt in the morning.
For both stays, there was only upgraded to the Premier Tower room as a Globalist. Perfunctory check-in experience. Since they were both 1 night stay, I did not ask for a suite, although it was heavily advertised on the bus to pay for an upgrade.
Due to the early morning flight, I did not get a chance to check out the breakfast, although I was told that it's the restaurant breakfast buffet, and just charge to the room - no certificate is needed.
The hotel bar opens late and have friendly staff. Prices were reasonable.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the HR ORD last week for one of Sweet Willie's wonderful dinner DO's in the city. I started staying here in 2010 or 2011, during the good days of the Regency Club, so it's sad to see the empty space just sitting behind the front desk.
In terms of the room, we just got a standard king in the executive tower. It was pretty chilly in ORD, so I was appreciate of the fact the in room furnace worked as well as it did. The room was right across from a suite...as usual. I think I've only been upgraded once or twice, the last time in 2012 when I got the two-story panorama suite.
The shuttle service was as good as one would hope. The driver had no problem dropping us off at the Rosemont CTA station so we could catch the blue line into the city.
Overall a perfectly acceptable stay for the rate we received. This is one of the few ORD hotels I have stayed at and will continue to stay here.

Usually I had been able to get pre-upgrade to panorama suite as globalist without asking, but the last time when I was there they pre-upgrade me to regency suite in the premier tower nstead since they said panorama suite is not available. I actually don't like the panorama suite that much as both bathrooms are tiny, the two levels concept connect with a spiral staircase looks cool but not practical.
The regency suite is not a real suite but they build a 3/4 wall inside the room (not all the way up to the ceiling) to have a windowless bedroom, so basically when you walk in the room, your bedroom is immediately to your right
This property is not just an airport hotel but also a convention hotel, majority of their business came from convention exhibitors and attendees but not travelers on a layover, this HR can host a decent size convention but also right next door rosemont convention center, so when some of the suites are not available, it is more like you are there during a big convention, the rosemont convention center do have conventions quite frequent with some of the medium size open to the public and industry conventions.
