So I am pretty sure the answer is no, but I just thought I would ask - With the death of My Elite Rate are there any other discount codes to use (other than AAA) for someone who does not have a Costco membership? I ask because not only does Hilton have MVP (which is equivalent to MER at 20%), but also Gold Medal Rate with a 15% discount which is typically more available than MVP.

There's been some problems with registration, I suugest that you PM our Gold Passport Concierge staff here on Flyertalk with your GP number, they'll be able to see if you're already registered (which I think is the problem) and what your promo is.

Also, it seemed to matter where I clicked in from. When I went to register just after registering hubby, it said the same thing about ineligibility for me. Then, when I clicked through "clean," I and got my offer and registered successfully.

Unexpected Gift From Hyatt
Today I received a card from Hyatt in the mail. The envelope read, "Look inside for a special gift from Hyatt Gold Passport".
Inside the envelope were two United Club Passes. I definitely like how Hyatt is extending their hospitality beyond the hotel.

Fast-Track
Not sure if this is this is open to the public, however, it looks like Hyatt GP is having a status challenge through their corporate sales departments. It looks like this is relatively new since I had to talk to a supervisor in order to get it processed as the frontline employee wasn't aware of the promotion.
If the corp sales department sponsors you (I called earlier today and it was processed), you get instant platinum status for 60 days (retain through February 2016 for 6 nights - for which you also receive 1k points per night as a bonus). Additionally, you can earn diamond status for 12 nights in 60 days.
This, combined with the stay more/play more, was definitely enough to change all my Q1/Q2 stays to Hyatt. I also believe the deadline for enrolling in the challenge was May 31st.
Mod note: thank you for posting, however, there is already a lengthy thread on this subject, http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt...vite-only.html , please continue discussions in the referenced thread.
