The same reasoning would apply to the type of tetanus shots that are given after exposure to those who were not vaccinated previously.

It does come across as a premature resumption - we are still going to quarantine all those arrivals, so why bother with the resumption?

All HKTDC trade fairs scheduled for April have been postponed to July.

Still no word on the Canton Fair but it sure looks like I won't be coming in April.

on.cc, HK$ per mask:

Unbranded: 6-8
Japan VFE: 20
KF94 (equiv to N95): 35
KF80: 25
Unbranded prices going back down to approx $3.6 now https://hd.stheadline.com/news/realt...85%AD%E6%88%90

I suspect it may have something to do with China Customs confiscating masks packages, making Hong Kong probably the Best and Highest Use market.

Did anyone speculate on mask futures or options?

HKSAR to impose entry restriction for passengers arriving from Korea 06:00 25 Feb
Except HKSAR residents (just announced on NowTV)

The Koreans are asking for their KF94 masks back https://s.nextmedia.com/realtime/a.p...647&a=60635954

P.S. he says he was denied denied boarding (Sunday 11:11AM), not denied entry into the US.
So it appears this is check-in agent on a (probably anti-Mainlander) power trip rather than real US Govt requirement.

The Government should have foreseen this coming a few weeks ago and by now have set up a counter at HKIA that would print-out entry-exit records for the past month on request.

This government should not exist anymore after the cluster that they made of 2019 but… the world is not perfect.

The only airline flying nonstop to the USA from HKG is Cathay. Seems a bit out of character for a Cathay employee to go on a power trip like that — would be entirely believable from an AA employee on the other hand

I don't believe in this crisis, the Government can be seen as reliable...

I don't want to go into a pro/anti-protest debate but wasn't Cathay "cirticised" for employing pro-protesters? From the beginning to as recent as the the Lisa Ch'ng pen incident.
