Finally made LT Diamond with my 1000th night being in Madrid - I knew this stay would put me over but pleasantly suprised to see the app changed immediately from nights needed for Diamond to Lifetime status. No email or anything yet and I was informed I will get a 60K bonus as the milestone bonus slider nows says 60 nights completed (Even though I've only done 30 this year). No 60K credited as yet so lets see if I get that as a bonus ?

Updated immediately after stay in the app

Congratulations! Did the Madrid property notice?

This seems to be a glitch in the counter that it starts including rollover nights from last year as in the current year when hitting lifetime. Unfortunately, it does only seem to be the slider that is wrong and the milestone points won’t actually post, or at least that is what happened to me.

A bit annoying as will now need to manually remember how many rollover nights, and deduct it when looking at the count for the rest of this year.

Minor trivia, I found out there is a distinct key jacket for LTD. I haven't gotten one yet, I almost always get the general member blue one.

Got thanked for being a Lifetime Diamond somewhere in the world a couple weeks ago. Did get Exec Suite upgrade at Hilton Sydney, one-night stay, so not a stretch. Think original booking was Jr Suite(?)

Both DoubleTree Amsterdam and Hilton Paris Opera mentioned my LTD status last month...first two hotels to mention it in the year I have been a LTD. Upgrade to an 2 room executive suite at AMS...nice but overlooked the train operation. A bit noisy at night. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, a Diamond benefit.

Paris no upgrade because I booked a junior suite. But I wanted to assure a larger room. Got one of their biggest rooms.

Slightly off topic, is there also a way to look at lifetime related numbers (e.g. number of stays, nights)? Can easily pull it up with Marriott Bonvoy, but so so far didn't see where to find it in HH.

Hi
I think for lifetime numbers you need to contact Hilton Honors (per the lifetime diamond thread)

Use the “chat with us” module on the website. Once you get past the robot answering service, the human agent can quickly pull up lifetime numbers. I used this last week and they replied within 90 seconds with my lifetime nights, base points, and years as a Diamond.

Lifetime Diamond

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has managed to achieve this? I've got 13 years as diamond, but since covid, I haven't been travelling as much. I think this year will be my last as a diamond. I've haven't got the prescribed 2 million base points, I mean.. who has! So even though 13 years at the higher tier is an achievement, it's still not enough!

Thanks :)

How far off are you on nights? I'm coming up to nine years as Diamond, currently around 680 nights and likely to be very close to 1k by the time I've hit 13 years.

There is a huge thread here on Lifetime Diamond. I am one...earned by the 2 million points, and 90+ % on my dime.

Schoey53 Sep 1, 2023 7:38 am

Is there? I tried searching but couldnt find it.

aww3583 Sep 1, 2023 12:22 pm

I know 6 LTDs. All have achieved it on years and nights.

I’ll have it in November on years and base points (900 nights, give or take). The Amex spend bonus points counting as Hilton Base Points helped tremendously.

It's definitely a thing. I'm not quite there yet but should have it in 2-3 years at this pace. I'll have the 10 years as Diamond but still need ~200 nights.
