Who has eaten at Dynasty 8? What did you think? We are interested in finding a restaurant serving Beijing duck. Does it? We enjoyed Beijing duck at Beijing Kitchen at the Hyatt a few years back. Should we head there?

I've got to say, communication with this property is phenomenal. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but less than 48 hours after I requested April P&M dates, the entire calendar was loaded for the month. I was notified within an hour of when it was loaded.
I was also immediately welcomed to enjoy the 39th floor Conrad Club Lounge during my stay (gold) and the lounge sounds delightful.

Hi, I am a regular at the Conrad Macao and in my experience it was better before they opened the lounge:
- the lounge itself is fairly nice, great staff ^
- the few times I was there I was the only guest
- breakfast selection somewhat limited (especially the fruit selection) and afternoon tea even more so - dont know what they offer in the evening - they do however try to please very hard and if you ask them for something missing from the offering, they will try to get it for you
- in the past you would get breakfast at Grand Orbit with their huge food selection or in-room breakfast and in the afternoon could choose something from their tea menu in the lobby bar which was also very nice
Hope this helps.

I stayed here last weekend. As a gold, received the pre-arrival email from the lounge manager. I wrote back and she wrote back within 2 hours saying I was getting an upgrade. Got upgraded to a corner suite (the one with the media room). Upon checkin got the hot towel / escort to the room treatment. At evening happy hour the spread was quite nice with spanish ham and full liquor bar.
They treat golds well.

No I didn't. There were other people inside and it wasn't appropriate (and I just didn't think of taking pictures). It's a rectangular space, maybe a total of 120 square meters, with clusters of tables seating 2 or 4. The food section is maybe 25-30% of the space with a divider that shuts it off during off hours. The decor feels like wood / carpet.

Just booked a P+M for a Saturday night in Mid May. several room types to choose from. Seems the business is not as good as before.

Weekends looked a little more jam-packed and C+P wasn't there on most of them, it's interesting that it might be loosening up.

Interesting. Weekday upgrades are easy-peasy for a Gold in my experience- it's nice to spend $75+tax+16k HH points a night and get a suite...

Need either a Saturday or a Sunday and I am quite surprised to see there are plenty of availabilities including the City View.
The gambling revenues in Macao have been declining for a consecutive 9 months due to the Mainland China politics. I imagine things indeed have changed somewhat in the past 6 months.

Used P&M + eStabndby upgrade to a deluxe suite. Upgraded to premier suite as gold. Yes, I see some have success getting this room without the Nor1 (do they always charge resort fee + tax on Nor1?), but I was willing to pay it for the "guarantee."
Staff is first rate. They must have facial recognition in the elevator or something because people I had never seen before knew my name.
The 39th floor EL is on two side of the floor. The "dining" side is only open during breakfast, tea, evening cocktails. So be aware there aren't really any offerings on the EL desk/business center side of the floor during off hours. Pretty much empty when I visited.
As spacious as the suite was, I couldn't help but be let down by all the minor imperfections. Where the staff shines, the director of rooms really needs to look at the details: pad of paper on the desk with no pen, no welcome letter in the room, chinsy turndown (moving water from the bathroom to the bedroom without refreshing), TV in media room had "no input" I reported it and it never got fixed, awful "stains" all over the media room couch (and considering there's prostitutes 50 feet from the lobby, I didn't go anywhere it so that room was a waste), empty liquid hand soap container in the half bath, remote control not working, phone not able to dial out.
Also, if you like western style table games, you'll have to go across the street to Venetian or City of Dreams. There's two blackjack tables on site, each with a 500HKD minimum. Construction noise was non-existent.
Overall 8 out of 10. Knowing I paid $165/night for a $1,000 room and the outstanding staff gets it to the 8.
