looks like Hertz will be getting them along with the Camaro SS.

spotted both, didn't see if they were ON plates.. they wouldn't even care to offer it to a loyal customer anyways.

Finally! Haven't seen a V8 muscle car at Hertz Canada since maybe 2015?

National had one last year or the year before, it was from the Exotic fleet I was told.. It was the Challenger with the Shaker hood.

I couldn't even get close to it because there was a tow truck in the way but if it's ON plated and a $50 upgrade, that sure would be a sweet car to get up in speed with.

HErtz YYZ must be getting a new batch of cars.....Picked up a Nissan Murano tonight in the PC section with only 227 KM's. Been a long time since I saw such a low mileage car in YYZ

yep, they got a bunch of GM vehicles and Ford vehicles in the fleet now.

They are trying to take a slice of the pie from National but really failing to do so.

Also, they've got new management so it's slightly better.

Spotted two brand new ecoboost Mustang convertibles in the Hertz Upgrade Selection early Monday morning.

There were a couple ecoboost Mustang convertibles over at Enterprise as well. I suspect these will mix into the National fleet with the existing Mustang GTs.

I couldn't believe my eyes today. Hertz T1 Upgrade Selection had three brand new black Camaro RS convertibles available for upgrade. As a previous owner of a black Camaro Z28 convertible I was pleasantly surprised.

Any advice appreciated. Booking a 3 week rental end of May into June.
The two rates that seem decent are,
1: Midsize SUV Group Q4 IFAR Toyota RAV4 or similar for $780
or 2: Premium Group G PCAR Chrysler 300 or similar for $660

The premium for less money seems like the better deal but I'm looking for headroom and the Chrysler 300's are pretty tight.
Is it likely that I can end up with a midsize SUV if I book the PCAR and decide I don't like the vehicle. (Gold Member only)

TIA

Interesting
Just look at the AAA rate where PCAR is 617CAD for 3 wks and FCAR is 639CAD for 3 wks (pick up Thursday)

Generally speaking, YYZ Hertz does not have a lot premium cars, currently most cars are Chargers, few 300s (Impala is FCAR in Canada)
Hertz does have more mid size SUV (Rogue, Rav4, chevy etc) and personally I think you can definitely book PCAR and kindly ask for an mid size SUV
If you want an SUV, it's better to have a back up reservation

BTW, Thursday/Friday/Saturday before afternoon possibly are best time to pick up

Dodge Challenger

T3 PC

Asked about upgrading to the Camaro as a Presidents circle member and was told it was $65/day and that was the best they could do. Then I spoke with a manger who said those are normally $100/day and they were new. They just parked it there because they didn't have anywhere else to park it. Mentioned the sign which said $40/day upgrade for PC. He then says oh that's $40 USD. I couldn't believe it. Why is Hertz YYZ always trying to scam their customers and such a headache to deal with. If National or Avis had any Camaro this year I would have walked away and cancelled on the spot.
