The hertz website offered me the above for $236 (pay at location) or £132 GBP (approx $215 prepaid)
This all seems quite a good deal. Are there any vouchers tor coupons that may work over the Xmas holiday period to get a small extra discount ?

Best looks to be USAA CDP with PC 135892 coming in at $30.30 for an economy or compact.

For LAX-SFO, not seeing anything better than you already found with Hertz, but you can get a rate of $137.80 with Alamo for that rental if you are a member of (or sign up for free) Korean Airlines Skypass program.

As for Sirius, it's possible that location doesn't have any cars with it, but you can always request it at the counter and see.
