Submitted my form on the 10th, arrived Paris on the 13th. Till today, I haven’t received any pass from them. What a disappointment!

I wouldn’t be panicking if I didn’t see others receive a response with such a quick turn around but I am getting nervous. I leave on Saturday morning and haven’t heard back. Submitted my application last Wednesday, which was in the correct format/size. Almost immediately I received the auto response but nothing since.

People really shouldnt be expecting instantaneous processing. They are overwhelmed and are saying you may just need to get tested. People who keep resubmitting are making the problem worse. |
Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but it appears that the French version of the form has been changed so that it cannot be filled out by way of computer. Perhaps the diplomat's office is trying to discourage people from re-sending the form?

Yes, there is a possibility you will not have yours in time for your arrival in France. But the quick responses seem nearly all to have been in response to people who filed on the first day, where it seems they were *not* only processing applications for arrivals via August 15 (presumably because there was no backlog yet). As of today, the website says they are only processing for arrivals through tomorrow.

The two I applied for came in around 4p to 5p France time.
Which other thread you read about the crash? |

someone above linked to a thread on TripAdvisor (it’s a few pages back; sorry I should’ve specified it wasn’t a thread here). Anyway a poster from Paris mentioned the system crashing, it is one of the more recent posts if you’d like to read it yourself.
The two applications I submitted were exactly opposite of what that thread is speculating i.e alignment, font size, french vs english, adobe read, mac vs PC all that jazz. Guess what, I even used the American formatted date in the form I submitted! Ah ha! My advice is don't over analyze this. Been to 3 restaurants here already, 2 of them didn't ask, 1 of them assumed I had the CDC card. And I ate like a king here. |

Ah yes. I would avoid reading that thread. The more you get into it, you more you start stressing yourself out. Too many non-sensical and speculations going on in there. I did post the link earlier which I have already deleted.

I'll give my own anecdotal counter to the Tripadvisor thread. I woke up this morning quite discouraged. It had been a week since I initially emailed. Then again on Monday (USTZ) I submitted via Gmail just in case there was an issue with Microsoft emails. Nothing after 24 hours from there. Then I read a report on the Tripadvisor thread that someone in a similar position had re-submitted just an hour earlier and received a pass within 5 minutes. On a whim, I forwarded my Gmail application again, making some reference to "errors" in the prior, but essentially just submitting an identical app. Within 5 minutes I received a reply with my QR code. This was approximately 3:30pm Paris time.
I'm still not sure the anecdotes are helpful, but the one thing we can seemingly be sure of is that the inbox is monitored by a real human and the submissions are not being handled in a FIFO fashion, at least during Paris afternoon business hours. If you're going to resubmit, this seems to be the closest thing to golden hour for your chances. |
Just applied via email. Hope I get a response soon.

On the health pass form, are they asking for my current address in the USA or the address that I will be staying at while in France?
The form states: Address (in country of residence abroad) Thank you! |

Everywhere we have been, not just dinner but hotels where we booked with breakfast have asked for the pass. Although, before we got the pass, some places had told us that our Canadian proof would be OK. |
