Flying AMS-HEL-BKK soon. Would you suggest to stay in the Schengen lounge? Or rather visit the lounge behind passport check?

What time you are flying? I was on AY 143 a couple of times, an by the the non-schengen lounge is fine.

So there is no reason to stay at the schengen side. Drinks are a little better non-schengen - I don t like the food offerings in both lounges (most of the times) but non-schengen offers a little more.

I tried my luck, but no luck:

"hei, sain kyselysi loungesta liittyen Platinum Wing -loungen aukeamiseen.

Tulemme tiedottamaan tasojäseniämme avauspäivästä sähköpostitse."

Now it is indeed getting quite sad, it's getting close to two months since the announced opening date. They are in a hurry to catch their summer deadline. The original goal, IIRC, was to have the business lounge too ready for summer but that's not going to happen as no works there have even been started.

It reminds me of the time before QR opened Al Safwa in DOH- that delay went on for an eternity and there was a similar lack of information from the staff for passengers. It’s not good.

Just walk five minutes ago to the aircraft at gate 52 and I spotted some blueprints at the floor of construction area. The new AY lounge maybe?
