My god. Waiting for the next bug light to be turned on so they can all fly towards it.

Will be eagerly awaiting the Twitter postings....

And I bet you also accidentally delete comments from the content's original author stating the "copy and paste" occured.

Wow, really? Hey Adam1222, I thought your issue with his blog was some high minded blah blah blah about journalistic integrity or some such banter.

"Flyertalk doesn't bother me as much as bloggers who fund a life of conspicuous consumption and little interest in fomenting community, by pushing consumer credit without appropriate disclosures to less sophisticated travelers/consumers. IBs ads are generally much more obviously ads than Lucky' s ads masquerading as neutral objective content."

With this vicious little snark post, I think you are letting us know what your real issue is....

Pretty disappointing to see you sink lower than the bloggers you decry.

Not sure what you think was redacted, but that was hardly vicious. When I'm being vicious, you'll know. Indeed, the post you quoted referenced that the site "hired" someone with no relevant qualifications to write poor content, and then plugged that person's new "career" pushing his new job as a travel agent and asking readers to book with him. My comment was about youth and inexperience, and I stand by the suggestion he could be easily replaced with a generic young man who is willing to accompany Ben. I'm hardly alone in that assessment and don't see it as inconsistent with anything else.

Now, what, praytell, is my real issue? Because I legitimately have no idea what you can be suggesting it is. Perhaps this is a case where you are thinking the word that was redacted was not at all The word that was used. (I honestly was surprised by the edit.)

Finally, I couldn't possibly be hypocritical here since (1) I am not misleading anyone, (2) I am not making money off my Flyertalk posts, (3) I am not pretending to be a source of objective information, (4) No one is taking out consumer credit based on my calling Ford unqualified and interchangeable. The ethical standards of journalism and/or advertising do not apply. I have thus not "sunk lower" than any blogger since there is no comparable standard at play.

In conclusion, you really should be careful what you call vicious.

Adam1222, if Spicer ever gets fired, go for his job. I honestly was surprised by your snark.
