Yes - I had FCC on the brain because of a story I was editing about in-flight calling and somehow it ended up above (so I will fix the typo).

And yes, you are correct re the lack of compliance with these guidelines. That goes for most blogs that cover products and services I would suppose

How little do people care about this blog lately that there are no snarky comments about the impending Residence trip?

his transparency destroyed any fun that snarkiness could bring to the table. It's also not a $32,000 ticket.

Ouch! And it would have been much more timely and relevant too.

No mention of the post saying the CSP is better than the CSR? You know, the CSR was the greatest card ever and pumped by every blogger ad nauseum, including Lucky, yet now its not better than a "lesser" card from the same bank.

Oooooh, he has affiliate links for the CSP. Nevermind.

I'm shocked, shocked to see that cards that pay him $$ morph from meh to marvelous in the blink of an eye. Lucky and integrity do not go together. I think George at TBB has a great word for what Lucky does.

Ben stealing info fromFlyertalk?

So, Ben has an article on the delayed opening of St. Kitts Park Hyatt. Ben lifted my post verbatim off Flyertalk.com. He claims it came from the Will Run For Miles blog, but if you check it out that blog, you will see that is not correct.

When I posted a comment on his blog pointing out this issue, he removed my comment immediately. Here is my original post on flyertalk and you can see he lifted the details verbatim.

Looks like the lifted your text instead of Will Run for Miles. It doesn't surprise me that he failed to cite your post inasmuch as his ethics has been in question for years.

Interesting. I commented on it too, hopefully he will correct it. It's kind of bizarre. Don't know him to plagerize, but maybe Im wrong.
