When I posted a comment on his blog pointing out this issue, he removed my comment immediately. Here is my original post on flyertalk and you can see he lifted the details verbatim.

That's how he rolls.

Most bloggers will do anything to avoid HT'ing FlyerTalk because that would allow their readers to get the milk without a constant barrage of credit card affiliate pimping. @:-)

Because there's definitely no CC ad content here.

FT is hardly an altruistic operation.

Look, there's a comparative element here. Someone makes money off most things. That Internet Brands makes money off of Flyertalk doesn't bother me as much as bloggers who fund a life of conspicuous consumption and little interest in fomenting community, by pushing consumer credit without appropriate disclosures to less sophisticated travelers/consumers. IBs ads are generally much more obviously ads than Lucky' s ads masquerading as neutral objective content.

I see FT ads (thus support the site this way). Then again, I also support FT including creating new threads.

Interesting that some are just takers even on this site!

And I support FT by providing germane criticism of poorly written blogs, like yours, or of deceptive business practices by other blogs. Thanks for your service, dearie.

In his updated post, Ben admits he got this information from FlyerTalk.

When was the last time he contributed anything to FlyerTalk?

Didn't you just say the other day that Citi Prestige posts had stopped because they now don't offer commissions?
You can't have it both ways.

I don't see a contradiction. His suggestion would be that commissions/referral fees would come back, and thus a new barrage would come.
