Thanks, I was referring to the unit boxes found underneath the seats in front though which may be obstructive.

Did you have USB charging and/or AC power for your flight? I'm on a 77M flight (economy class) soon but haven't actually figured this out; information is scarce. Would be greatly useful since I'm going to spend a great deal of time in the plane (about 18 hours in one direction :S ).

Thanks in advance!

Talking Current Seat Maps ?

HELLO KITTY SEAT MAP anyone ?

I am flying IAH-TPE in September, looking for a 773 seat map, either on a Hello Kitty or regular day livery. Online seat maps don't seem to be current per the forums.

Can anyone help ? Are they still flying 77N config., with rows 69-71 2 seats ?

Cheers !

IAH-TPE flights have been using the new 77A aircrafts. Mon, Thu & Sat flights are Hello Kitty 77A aircraft. Seatmap is current on thread #1, row 73 the only 2 seats economy. I was on TPE-IAH this week, about 30% full in RL and Elite, did not check on economy load.

Looks like it is still a good row - I have wide shoulders, and I always get jostled by pax.

Has anyone flown on this plane and seen row 73?

Are the window seats pushed in, with extra room to hang over on the window sides?

The aisle seats should be good as well, with the missing 3rd seats.

Thanks.

Just for anyone who's wondering. The 77Ms that I took did have USB charging (1 port) for each economy seat. There's is no AC power. The screens are new (9 inch perhaps?) and the entertainment box that restricts your leg space is practically non-existent... probably a configuration of the older 77Ns.

Cheers.

Sorry for the late reply, for some reason I stopped getting notifications about updates to this thread.

The economy seats on the 77M all had a USB port but none had AC power.

Hi, I am sure this may have been answered upthread but there seem to be so many variations i thought i'd ask my question for a more precise answer.
I am travelling Elite class (PE) on EVA YYZ-TPE on BR35 this weekend and returning on Elite class TPE-LAX on BR2 the following weekend. Which seats are the best (I prefer aisle) and which do not have the IFE box underneath. Also do they all have charging and wifi ? Thanks

BR35 does not have wifi short of an equipment swap which has only happened once for me. I cant help with the rest.

Upgraded my dad to J class. I have him in seat 9K currently. Seat 1A & 1K just opened up and Seat 6K is available. Should I move him to 1K or leave him in 9K?

I was in 8A and the opening/closing of curtain whenever someone goes in/out of the galley bugged me a bit when I was trying to sleep so I am thinking 1A/K may be the same?

The front galley is barely used. Seat 1K has the most privacy, least traffic especially on 77N, 77M where the lavatory is behind 6K.

However, on my previous flights FAs accessed the cabinets next to 1K quite often. Not exactly ideal.
